Very pretty Spanish architecture. Old, but very clean and maintained. The rooms are large and comfortable. We stayed in Lenora and there was a fire place we used at night. Very nice touch! The bathroom was small but the shower was good, there were clean towels, and nice amenities like shampoo, etc. My daughters room was Susana and the bathroom...

We actually never made it the hotel as airline boarding was denied due to a damaged passport in Canada. However, we called the hotel before we had even left the airport and they were less than helpful in terms of cancelling our booking and our pre-booked pick up from Mexico City. While we are aware that they will charge us...

Regardless of where we stay in San Miguel we end up at Santa Monica for breakfast every morning. The courtyard is beautiful, the service is great and the food is just right. We love the coffee, the honey is the best ever. Many people talk about their brunch which is really amazing, but the regular breakfast shouldn't be missed either.

The grounds are beautiful, with an entryway leading to the central patio. Residents were often seen eating, talking, relaxing and playing various card/domino games during the morning and afternoon times. The premises is very large, with a pool in the back of the grounds. One may even spot a peacocks or two. The upstairs room was spacious, quiet and cool/cold...

This has been my favourite hotel in San Miguel de Allende since 1994, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are great! In front of a beautiful park in one of the nicest corners in town. If you are looking for a hotel with character and flavour this is it! Highly recommended!!!

We all loved the brunch here. It's all self serve. The Mexican breakfasts are wonderful as is the pancake and waffle section. Fresh omelettes. This is a wonderful place to come and sample it all. Everything was delicious. Tables are in the courtyard in a very relaxing setting. My favourite place for a special Sunday brunch.

The Antigua Villa Santa Mónica is a well-designed classic Mexican colonial convent style architecture accommodation property with an interesting history. It's great location at the southern end of the Juarez Park, provides a peaceful and quiet refuge. The staff is extremely attentive and always willing to assist. We did not have the opportunity to partake of their Sunday brunch, however,...

Always beautiful, always incredible food and always attentive wait staff. One of our favorite places for the last many years. It is a favorite of North Americans as well as international guests. Do consider the brunch on Sunday. Reservations a must.

A superb location across from the park makes it ideal for Sunday brunch. Very relaxing decor , good food with a variety of choices & an omelet station where you can also have quesadillas made to order. Mimosas are very inexpensive & the service is good.
