My room was spacious and beautifully appointed and had a private outdoor sitting area. The gardens and the views of the valley and distant mountains are beautiful. Shane is a warm and welcoming host who helped make my stay an incredible experience. Whether it was preparing the sauna, heating up the whirlpool, arranging for a massage, mixing up a great... More

We had a fantastic week staying at Sagrada Boutique Hotel. Shane, the owner, took wonderful care of us - cooking for us, arranging activities and tours and providing us with information and local guidance. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are a botanical garden and the rooms/casas are sprinkled around the property. We stayed in the "Casa Romantica",... More

I have the privilege of living in San Miguel, a sprinkling of months, here and there, approximately half of each year. Although accustomed to the climate and the wonderful views, I was taken aback at the beauty of this place, the serenity it imparts to those who visit and its vistas in so many directions. I had heard of this... More

This is my 2nd trip to Sagrada and again to escape the noise and fireworks of the fiestas in San Miguel de Allende. This is becoming a regular escape for me as Sagrada is so tranquil and beautiful. All I hear when visiting are the chirping birds and cooing doves, at night the chirping crickets. The botanical gardens are amazing... More

The six days that I spent at la Sagrada were some of the best days of my life! I stayed with two others at Casa Romantica, a sun-baked adobe casita equipped with its own full-range kitchen, and perched on a hill surrounded by visually arresting views of mountain ranges, cacti, townscapes, and an endless expanse of sky. The 18-acre grounds... More

I recently led a Reiki retreat at Sagrada and we were all charmed by the location, the food, the staff, and our host Shane Hayward, who was always available and ready to help, while letting us have the space we needed. Sagrada gave us the seclusion in nature that allowed for a deep retreat, with the cultural city of San... More

I attended a reiki retreat here. I had a private casita. Beautiful landscaping and grounds. Our meetings were in an open air room with spectacular views. The meals were delicious and plentiful. This a great place to go to get some down quiet. Just a fifteen minute ride to San Miguel.
