Hotel Cristina has garnered positive remarks for its amenities, particularly the clean pool and picturesque gardens, although the breakfast and pool temperature have received some criticism. Nestled in a scenic location, guests relish the captivating sea views and nearby promenades. The hotel's cleanliness and modern atmosphere are frequently commended, with rooms that are cozy and offer sea views. While opinions on value and room size vary, the service is generally celebrated for its professionalism and friendliness, despite occasional shortcomings.

My daughter treated me to an afternoon tea for Mother’s Day at this hotel in March. From the time we arrived to the time we left we could not fault anything. While we were waiting for it to arrive we asked out of curiosity to let ok at their lunch/dinner menus. My daughter and family are vegetarian so was interested to see what they offered as was getting fed up of other restaurants offering goats cheese as their choice! Not very inventive. Then came out afternoon tea which the sandwiches were all made fresh at that time as again other experiences at some other places the sandwiches have been dry at the edges! The staff were ALL very attentive and helpful. We were so impressed that we decided to book a table for lunch for her birthday in May and again a week later for mine. We had a table of 11 for hers and 9 for mine. They also offer a Sunday roast too! We all ordered our lunch and one again could not fault the food. My daughter and her partner were loving their vegetarian choice, very impressed. What made our lunch though were the pleasant and attentive staff. Not one was any less attentive than the others and really could not do more for us. Then it came to my birthday lunch. I had decided as a treat to myself to book in overnight for a staycation and booked a inland room. I had enquired if I might check in a little earlier so that I could get ready for lunch in my room and at 9.30 in the morning I had a confirmation email to say my room was ready!!! When I arrived I ended up having a sea view room above the pool with amazing views across St Aubins Bay. My family joined me for lunch and once again we could not fault anything. They had put fresh flowers on our table with a birthday card and a little desert at the end wishing me happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate. The staff are all fantastic once again and all are a credit to this hotel. While eating in the restaurant the views are amazing, they keep their pool at a warm temperature although the weather was too bad to use it, there was live music playing in the restaurant. Thank you Hotel Christina you really have made us feel very special at your hotel! We will be back 😁

Had a lovely weeks stay at this hotel. Staff were lovely and the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Weather was really good but this meant on one day, there were not enough sun beds for all around the pool. Ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the views from there are wonderful. Food and service were really good as was breakfast. As mentioned previously by others, it is a bit annoying that as hotel residents, a table has to be pre booked for evening meal. Even more annoying when told the one day that there was no availability in the restaurant or bar however, we struck lucky when another guest cancelled their table. Strangely when we went into dinner on the terrace, there were hardly any other people there. Can only think they had no reservations as they did not have enough staff on that night as they certainly had the tables. It would have been more appreciated if they had just acknowledged that. Our bedroom was fine apart from the fact that we had the room that was right next to the kitchen extractor fan which was extremely annoying. Thankfully it is turned off around 9pm and fires back up around 7 am however, the one night it was left on all night. As a light sleeper, this was very annoying. I did mention it to reception the next day and I suppose in hindsight, I should have just rang down in the night to get someone to turn it off but be aware of this should you be given a room in the location. The views however from our room, were wonderful and we were grateful to have the fire door to open for extra air as the tiny window was very inefficient in the very warm temperatures we had. Air conditioning could really do with being installed. We travelled around on the local buses which were brilliant value and also constantly on time (most of the time early!). We ate out at some beautiful restaurants which although not exactly 'cheap' were worth it in our eyes. I have always wanted to travel to Jersey but have never been due to most years going to hotter places in Europe and worldwide however, these strange times gave us the perfect opportunity to try this lovely island and we are so glad we did. The people are friendly, the place is spotless and the scenery is gorgeous. We will definitely return.

We had a brilliant stay. We were on the second floor in a sea view balcony room. The room and views were just brilliant from sunrise to a stunning sunset. The service was great, the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was good too. A top tip would be to book evening meals before you go. We were on B&B and only got to eat an evening meal in the hotel twice as the restaurant is popular with the locals too. We ate a la carte once and the set menu the other time. Both meals were excellent. The hotel has a pathway to the main road and beach so you can be at the bus stops, which take you across the whole island, in 5-8 mins. You can be at the beach in 10 mins. We would stay here again as the location, rooms service and views were perfect.

The location is truly amazing. There are many narrow roads in Jersey, and depending on which direction you approach the hill to the hotel, you might find yourself doing a very sharp steep turn to get to the hotel. There is ample parking with an overspill carpark as well. Once you have parked however, the views are stunning and the design of the building is almost Mediterranean.

All the staff are friendly and helpful and the check-in process quick and easy.

The room was spacious enough with a balcony, television and a comfortable bed. It was tidy. However, there was no fridge and no air conditioning. There was a hairdryer but no iron in the room and although USB sockets are present, the actual number of sockets was scarce. Just to be particularly critical, some small touches that would have made things even better: our cases were not in the room when the room was ready for us, as said and the shower gel bottle was empty.

The bathroom was relatively cramped, so make sure you leave the toilet lid down to avoid things falling down into it! The shower though had good power and heats up quickly.

There is an outdoor pool with changing facilities too. We had no problems getting sun loungers and towels are provided.

We had breakfast each morning, which offered a decent selection of hot and cold options, some from the buffet and other special order items. However, I would suggest fried eggs should be made fresh to order as leaving them out gives them a rubbery texture.

Dinner was sampled on one night. They serve until 2030. Putting the calm, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful view aside, the food was very good. The scallops and prawn tian starters were delicious. The mains were flavorsome, though we had expected the chili beef salad to be more like a crispy shredded chili beef bang bang salad style dish. The have a good drinks selection including Pimms which is fairly priced and overall the dishes are priced at good value. Food rating 8.5/10.

Overall, we had a lovely stay here and would both recommend and stay here again.

Very friendly and welcoming staff overall, which began with a lovely warm welcome from Victoria in reception as we arrived. A nice, relaxed feel to the hotel which is located overlooking the sea. However, access to and from the seafront is quite challenging if you have any mobility issues as the path through the gardens is set on a very steep slope. Our room had a balcony and would recommend when booking you asked for a sea view room-(which was spotless). We ate dinner on our first night, which was first class, and compared very favourably with other more expensive places we visited. Very comfortable public areas and the bar terrace is a lovely sun trap and great place to enjoy a drink whilst taking in the sea views. Highly recommended.

From the moment we booked to the minute we checked out the staff at Cristina couldn't be anymore helpful, caring and welcoming.
We emailed before hand to share some requests with regards to our rooms being located next to each other, whilst this is only a request they were able to deliver. We checked in early due to an early flight into Jersey, staff couldnt have been more accomodating.
The hotel location is perfect which meant we could walk out of the back of the hotel and into Coronation Park (it is located on a hillside, so is hard work in the way back up if you struggle on your feet).
Our rooms were south facing with lovely balconies and a stunning view of the bay.
The pool area is lovely, very private and has the bonus of a heated pool (although is still a tad chilly on first entry).
The food is good snd the restaurant has a stunning view again of the bay.
All in all a wonderful stay in this fantastically managed andran hotel. The staff truly are a credit to the Cristina and the Dolan chain.

Would we visit again? Unequivocally, yes. The hillside location affords spectacular views across St Aubin’s Bay; however, unless you have your own means of transport, once you get there, options to venture out are very limited. There is a steep flight of steps that lead to the main road, but there are few amenities in the immediate vicinity.

We were greeted by very friendly front of house staff. Access to the rooms was reminiscent of the gangways on a cruise ship and the room balconies too.

However, the south-westerly facing rooms got very hot and stuffy and that was at only 23C! Cannot imagine how 35C would have been. We noticed that so many bedroom doors were wedged open with a variety of items (trainers) to allow a through-draft. Summers are only going to get warmer.

We were disappointed with the Indigo Restaurant, of which we were expecting great things - particularly given that you have to make a reservation for a table. We opted for the daily menu (2 courses for £25) but very surprised at the very small portions. The views, however, are spectacular. The cocktails are just short of £10 each.

We preferred to eat in the Indigo Terrace for the remainder of our stay and would thoroughly recommend the steak sandwich. We found the staff more attentive, and the service appeared to be more efficient. They serve great hot and cold food until 8.30pm.

Hotel Christina is in a great location, elevated and facing out over the bay and practically all the bedrooms have sea views. The staff were super efficient and never once did we find any fault with them. The breakfasts offered a great variety of continental and full English as well as extras which you could order such as porridge and smashed avocado on sourdough. The Indigo restaurant had a good variety of courses on offer and was good value for money. The food was excellent and well presented

Lovely hotel overall - very quiet and peaceful during our stay. We had dinner one night which was of a high standard. All staff appeared to be very hardworking and friendly. The room was comfortable enough and the shower was great although we were probably expecting the room to be slightly bigger. The blackout curtains were great but the rail could have been put up a little higher as light flooded in at sunrise! We booked 2 rooms with the same specification and were charged the same however one was on the top floor with fabulous views of the bay and the other was on the ground floor and although we could just about see the sea it was obstructed by trees and nowhere near as good as the upstairs room view so a bit disappointing.

Everything and everyone was first class , from the initial booking (& several changes due to Covid-19) to our final sad goodbye.
Beautiful hotel , super staff who have always got a smile . Nothing is too much trouble. Clean , elegant and amazing views . I felt it was a sign of a well run establishment when on Sunday morning the senior management and other non - waiting on staff did the breakfast service (giving the staff a morning off as I assume they had been working very late due to I believe a wedding taking place the evening before ) . Well done all you deserve every booking you get . Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

I would agree with about 40 minutes. One has to walk down to the promenade first which could take about 10 mins. Then to the bus station perhaps another twenty mins
