Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic home made pizzas. Quiet pitch & lovely bathrooms. The site was chosen because of the good reviews and because it was near Alderford water park (15mins away) where we took our paddle boards. We felt lucky to find such a great camp site to meet up with our friends.

Great pitch with really nice amenities. Modern Electric showers so no issues with hot water. Nice little park for the kids but nothing huge but when camping you expect to bring your own games. Very dog friendly out large German shepherd made a few doggy friends. Overall feels like a very civilised respectful campsite and would definitely visit again.

What a beautiful site! We had an amazing long weekend here at Abbey Green, spacious pitch with gorgeous views of a very special country haven. Thank-you Rose and Philip for being wonderful hosts. Nothing was too much trouble with immaculate clean facilities. We enjoyed a delicious homemade pizza cooked by our hosts and cream tea delivered to our pitch. We sat and ate them in the glorious sunshine. A delight to be around such lovely respectful families who were enjoying camping and caravanning as much as we do. We will certainly be returning again. The surrounding area has so much to see and do. Whitchurch is a lovely town, full of independent shops and plenty of bars and restaurants. Whixall marina which is close by is also picturesque with lots of walks along the canal and local area with a fab cafe too. We had 2 great meals in the nearest pub - The Bull and Dog which was dog friendly inside and out with a sunny beer garden to enjoy the glorious bank holiday weather.

This was an excellent choice an exceptional b and b set in a lovely quiet rural location. The custom build cowshous is like nothing we had seen before. So beautifully decorated with lovely furniture. A small tv lounge and just 4 unique bedrooms we were in Dexter. The proprietors use the open plan kitchen to cook.your breakfast while you wait in the adjoining breakfast room. My husband loved his full English especially the tasty sausages. I enjoyed the choice of fruit and especially the prunes in Earl Grey and the home made lemon curd. I nearly didn't review this little gem as I wanted to keep.it to myself. Needless to say we will return for a longer stay and highly recommend.

A lovely little gem campsite with great facilities, beautiful location that feels out in the middle of nowhere but you’re only a few miles away from nearby towns and bill . We thorough enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Good sized pitches. Pubs nearby, not far to Whixall marina and Whixall and Bettisfield Misses nature reserve. Shower rooms/ toilets were clean and spacious - enough facilities for the amount of pitches and an indoor wash up area. We didn’t try the food offered as we were there as a base for family visits so I can’t comment on that. Friendly, helpful owners too.

This place is wonderful. We had a very peaceful and restful weekend. Phillip and Rose were very helpful and welcoming. The room we stayed in was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. We will definitely return in the summer.

What an absolutely amazing b&b. The hosts are a absolute professionals with a warm and hearty welcome. Just like the breakfast. You can tell from the moment you enter and feel the plush carpet under your feet (removing your shoes as the carpets are cream) that the attention to detail is second non. Our bedroom was very comfortable, quality linen and bedding which made for a lovely nights sleep. There’s a lovely lounge area with tv that we didn’t get chance to experience and patio with garden furniture. The location is in beautiful peaceful Shropshire countryside. Perfect place to get away from the hussle and bussle of life. Will certainly be looking for an excuse to stay again!
