Bali Taman is one of the nicest in Lovina, a more traditional Balinese beachfront resort. A lovely in-house restaurant, sparkling clean pool and bar all set amidst beautiful gardens and tranquil fish ponds.

Great staff who are very welcoming and friendly, and do all they can to ensure your stay is memorable. Visiting the town centre for shopping or dining out was never an issue with the free resort courtesy car being available for drop offs and pickup as needed.

We would particularly like to thank Mr Ketut Awan and Ayu for their impeccable service, but all the staff were great!

We stayed in an ocean view villa which was very clean, spacious and private, an absolute delight!

Bali Taman is a beautiful place and offers great value, we would highly recommend this resort if you are looking to stay in Lovina.

We have just finished 5 nights at the resort and loved our stay. The resort is beautifully presented and maintained. The deluxe twin room was large, light and very comfortable, with a great shower.
The gardens were beautiful and the pool by the beach was a great place to relax and unwind.
The staff all over the property were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you to Ketut, Ayu and Sri !
The Dolphin watching trips went out direct from the beach in front of the resort, and they have a free shuttle to Lovina beach every hour if you want to have a look around.
We really couldn’t fault our stay, and will definitely be recommending the resort to everyone.

We had a good stay here with our family. We had 2 rooms with interconnecting doors.

The staff was very friendly and the food was good in the hotel. Pool was good as well, although there were a lot of cracks in the stones surrounding the pool so the kids needed to be careful while playing.

There were intrusive sellers on the beach which prevented us from swimming in the sea or stay at the beach as they kept on pushing trying to sell their goods.

Lovina beach itself is noisy, dirty and small. Not a great place to visit.

Our room had a terrible bed, you could feel the springs of the mattress which wasn’t good for a good night’s rest. Overall the room was clean and large.

Place is a bit out of Lovina. The hotel offers free lifts into Lovina. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The staff is exceptional helpful and very keen to please you. The villas are a dream. The hotel is very helpful to plan fantastic trips to see Bali.

This hotel is Very old, bad maintenance and some things do not work anymore.
The beach is extreme dirty.
If they do not improve. Turists will leave and won’t come back.
Also the Delfín business, 30. Boats to sea a few, poor animals they go with so many small boats running behind them.
A putty as Bali is so beautiful

After a fairly dissapointing trip to Medewi (near Negara, west of Bali), we packed up and headed to Lovina. We walked into Bali Taman Resort, asked if we could see their rooms. Without any issues, the front office staff showed us the rooms. Started from the most basic to the fairly spacious beach-front villa (which we took). We stayed for a whole week and loved this place. Service with a smile, gracious and friendly staff .. We will definately return to Bali Taman when we come back to Lovina

we have been there for 5 days because we booked in advance but otherways we would not stay here. it's filthy the bed had not been changed, the hair of the previous guest was still in it. the bathroom was damp, the minibar was rusty the glas on the minibar was used and put back by the staff for years...the hotel was too far away from singaraja and lovina the hotel has a shuttle bus but not for guests and the bemo's are operational till 18:00 so you have to walk back to the hotel about 8 km from lovina...near a very bussy road.....

the beach was full of human waiste from the local villages more op hill...

I know others thought this hotel OK and some thought it good but my wife and I have just stayed there for one night during a tour of the island and we thought the room dreadful. Hotel itself wasn't bad if somewhat tired and the sellers on the beach are a nuisance but the room was one of the worst we have ever stayed in.

There is no lock on the room doors. Only a padlock which you fix through two loops on the outside of the door. Consequently, the security is in the fixing of the loops not the padlock and these were very loose indeed. Once inside, you couldn't lock the door and could only secure it by putting a piece of wood through the door handles. We didn't feel safe at all!

The bedroom was OK although it still had an old fashioned TV, not a flat screen one. There was a frosted glass window between the bedroom and bathroom but you couldn't cover it with a curtain consequently whenever anyone used the toilet you could sit on the bedroom and see their outline. So you had to be on good terms with whoever you shared the room with.

But the bathroom was something else. No hot water tap on the sink, just a hole and a cold tap. Shower didn't work so you had to stand in the bath and use a hand held version. The worst thing though was no roof just a black mesh. So I hate to think what you are meant to do when it rains.

Reception staff thought that this was all OK and didn't seem concerned.

We discovered this hotel on our recent trip to North Bali. We were worried as the location was close to the road, but we asked for a quiet room, and were shown a deluxe suite ( room 315 ), right near the beach. We were impressed by the cleanliness and service. The restaurant attached seemed more that adequate at the buffet breakfast we had, I'm only sad we stayed just one night here, as our accommodation in Munduk was terrible the night before.
The bathroom was massive, and we found the room sealed well, making the air-con work well, and no trouble with mozzies.
As a walk-in our rate given was $90-00 USD, so we thought the value was superb. Would most definitely choose to stay again. Just avoid the hawkers on the beach!
Many thanks!

My husband and I stayed two nights here and it was a nice, relaxing stay.
There are different accomodation styles available but we stayed in the budget standard room.
It was clean and tidy with a small patio area and there was good wi-fi connection in the room.
The bathroom was very basic with the toilet and shower in an all-in-one area ( which was a new experience for us, the toilet got wet when using the shower but it wasn't too bad ).
There is a lovely open dining hall where breakfast is served and it also offers a lunch and dinner menu.
We spent a lot of time by the pool which was lovely and clean and overlooks the beach.
The beach itself isn't very nice.
The resort is about a 5 minute drive away from the town centre of Lovina but it's easy to get transport there and back ( we used public transport and taxis) .
The staff were fairly helpful and there is a nice, small spa there as well.
Overall, a pleasant stay.
