I am just gonna go ahead and say that this is the best motel I have ever stayed in. Whether in terms of service, location or views this motel offers, It is the BEST one. Also, the delicious food with home made feel adds a star to it's name. The motel backs to a huge backyard and shore. That's what...

Average ...no frill, clean, (carpet and chair stained-light bulbs burnt out- staff gave me a new bulb) very basic...outside property is huge and well groomed. Nice view outside of the ocean, restaurant on site, did not try.

We weren't expecting the Ritz Carlton or anything, but this place is really, really rundown and very overpriced for what it is. I booked online and had to call in a credit card to reserve the room. When we arrived to check in, they claimed we didn't have a reservation - after several minutes of confusion, they somehow didn't understand...

Ample room and a view of the harbour from the ground floor deck via patio doors. No microwave, but has TV, table, chairs, 2 queen beds, alarm clock. The motel is painted pink which may turn off a number of people, but it is a nice location and clean. The restaurant is on site where the office is and the...

My husband and I went around the Cabot Trail for our honeymoon. I was weary of staying here, but there aren't a lot of options in that area of the trail. We were really happy with our stay. we were in one of the two rooms/suites above the regular rooms. It was a large room with an updated bathroom and...

We stayed here for one night on a 2-day trip driving the Cabot Trail. The selling feature for this motel is definitely the location; it is located on a hill right by the water. The views are amazing, and most of the rooms are facing the water. Our room had a little porch and we had a nice dinner outside,...

We stayed in August for one night on our way around the Cabot Trail. Great spot clean, good food at the restaurant and the location was perfect. It was next to the whale watching tour boats. We enjoyed Captain Marks whale watching tour. Safe, knowledgeable tour.

perfect spot to stop midway through the Cape Breton trail. We got in late but enjoyed walking around the area along the water. Room was clean, bed wasn't super comfortable, but other then that our quick stay was great. Breakfast in the resturaunt in the morning was also very good.

We stayed for two nights whilst touring cape Breton. The plus points, very friendly, good location (there's not a lot of choice in the area), good view from the ocean rooms and kept very clean. However the rooms do need updating. The sheets on our bed were very thin, the quilt was tired and worn. There was also a huge...
