We stayed with Angela for one night in order to go to the nearby restaurant Inver. Little did we know that Angela’s place would be a wonderful treat as well! Lovely rooms, so comfortable and nicely decorated. Sublime Scottish breakfast and warm, wonderful hospitality. Angela was so kind and we loved her dog Marley and the friendly chickens too. We’ll be going back - and would 100% recommend Balliemeanoch to all.

Recently returned after staying with angela whilst walking the Cowal Way,Due to covid stayed with angela for the entire walk,angela every day dropping us off after breakfast and then picking us up again.Every now and then you find a B&B that raises the bar and goes the extra mile,Balliemeanoch is one such place standard of rooms excellent and if your lucky enough to have an evening meal at Balliemeanoch you will not be disappointed,excellent food prepared by Angela.This I reckon is easily the best place to stay in Strachur and I will certainly be returning.

We have stayed at Balliemeanoch Breaks several times over the past 4+ years and is just perfect. Angela goes out of her way to be the perfect host. The rooms are so comfortable, the setting so peaceful and breakfast is just wonderful. However, it is the extra little details that make it so special - fresh cut flowers,home made bread at breakfast with 4 different homemade jams, homemade cinnamon muffins, rescue hens happily wandering about, and of course Marley the lovable dog. Also if you need a lift to eat out, Angela will arrange transport with John the local very friendly taxi-driver. You owe it to yourselves to visit!

Angela made us very welcome. Accommodation really comfortable and a great breakfast. Very family friendly. Wish we could have stayed more time. Tucked away off the main road so nice and quiet. There are a few options for eating close by. Inverary is 20' away.

Stayed while on a short family break visiting the area. Angela could not be more helpful, informative and welcoming! The rooms are big, freshly decorated with the most comfortable of beds. The garden is beautiful and the chickens funny. Marley the Labrador is just a plus. We will be back.
