Dagmar and her husband went out of their way to accommodate us when we traveled to Norway this July. She responded quickly to our emails and helped us when everything else was booked. Thank you again Dagmar!

We stayed in the restored Fisherman Hut (Rorbu) number 16, for 4 nights. It was like being in a boat for the beautiful views and being right on the water. The original part of the cabin was updated but still showed the old bunks for the fishermen. We cooked several dinners in the fully equipped kitchen. The heating was perfect... More

Our group of seven rented two cabins from Dagmar. She was wonderfully accommodating and helped us before and during our visit. She arranged car rental, a taxi to meet us at 4 AM and adjusted our reservation at the last minute due to a flight delay. The cabins were well equipped and comfortable. The location was great! We highly recommend... More

Absolutely great - authentic, quiet, comfortable, with a great view. A perfect place to stay when exploring Moskenesøya. We have seen quite a few other rorbuer locations on our trip to Lofoten, and Sakrisøy must be the best of them, because it is not crowded like others (In Reine, for example, you have boat trips passing by all the time,... A really good lodging to have a home environment that makes you part of the community; our rorbuer had a dining area and kitchen; living room and bathroom on the first floor and 3 bedrooms on the second; terrific views onto the water and surrounding community;

Sakrisøy Rorbuer have different rorbu cabins, some restored old ones and some brand new. We (couple + 1 senior person) stayed in a brand new rorbu, called "Ole Moen", at Sakrisøy. "Ole Moen" is actually about 1/3 of a larger rorbu, where the other 2/3 is a rorbu called "Olstind", for larger companies. Our rorbu was fairly small but very... More

I have been visiting beautiful Lofoten several times and found this location to be the best in Lofoten. Take a look at my attached photos and you will understand! The beauty of this place is simply staggering – and in my opinion the most beautiful part of my country! My wife and I stayed in “Ottarbua” cabin for two nights... More

I could not have loved this place any more. It's hard to not be completely blown away by the area itself but the cabins were so cosy and the staff were amazing. It was a true escape from the hustle and bustle for us - no TV/radio in the cabins meant when we weren't out exploring nights were spent in... More

I like the mix of a refurbished "real" rorbuer with a new rorbuer. The living room and kitchen was a refurbished rorbuer and the two bedrooms and bathroom was a new rorbuer, connected via a "mud room." Rorbuer #16 was especially nice because it is located at the end of the row of rorbuer's and is closest to the open... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sakrisoy Rorbuer are a small familyrun business that sells accomodation. Most of our cabins are buildt on poles over the water in the mid 18th century. They are original fishermens cabins from the era when fishermen went fishing in open boats and needed somewhere to sleep and work. They are now restored to accomodate travellers and each contain a kitchen, a bathroom, a livingroom and bedrooms/beds for 2 to 6 persons. If you are looking for a somewhere to spend your vacation in a extraordinary surroundings then maybe our little fishingvillage are the place? Have a great experience!
