Detailed Reviews
We stayed two nights at Milvil whilst attending a local wedding. It’s an amazing place, you will step back in time to the Art Deco period reflecting this buildings original design.
Angela and Steve have very tastefully collected memorabilia of that period and decorated their home to great effect, we felt comfortable and cosseted.
Their home is sparkling and spotless, all your snack needs are catered for including fresh coffee bags and fresh bites. Likewise in the en suit everything is beautifully included for your needs.
Breakfasts are at your time of choosing and include a wide range of foods choice.
Parking off road is available on a first come basis but this is a quiet location and off road parking is plentiful and safe.
Views of the Solent are a short walk and cafes, takeaway foods and a mini Tesco are available up near the water front.
We thoroughly recommend staying at Milvil Cotner.

Went to visit a school friend who lives 10 minutes from this wonderful hotel and who had no knowledge of it. Other friends/relatives of her’s usually stay at a Holiday Inn/Travel Lodge!! Why would you?? This place was absolutely wonderful. It was an Art Deco style property, and everything in it was of the same style, the attention to detail was incredible.
The room was immaculately clean and so comfortable. Lots of thoughtful touches like a bottle of still and sparkling water which was replaced each day. The towels were lovely and fluffy. Nice toiletries. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There was also a beautiful garden.
Angela and Steve were excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this stunning hotel to anyone and will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Just returned from my third visit to this fabulous hotel. It is absolutely wonderful in every way. The rooms are immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, as is every area. A beautiful garden to sit in.
The attention to detail is above and beyond. Thoughtful touches like bottles of water, and packets of tissues in the room both replaced everyday.
Tea making facilities in the room with every type of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Also biscuits and crisps.
The breakfasts are great. Lots of options, plentiful and all beautifully presented.
I really cannot stress how good this hotel is. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the area.
The hosts Angela & Steve are friendly and helpful.
You really have to try this place and I guarantee you will be returning again and again.

Our recent stay at Milvil B&B could not have been better. The location is quiet, yet just a 5 minute walk to Lee On Solent seafront. The standard of accommodation is excellent and hard to beat. The Maurice room was large and immaculately clean and prepared to a very high standard. There were numerous breakfast options and again the standard both in quality and presentation was extremely good. The hosts made us feel most welcome and their attention to detail during our stay shows they strive for the highest standards in all they do. Thank you for a lovely stay - we will be returning.

My husband and I stayed in Little Wentworth at Mulvil, self- catering apartment. The accommodation was clean and of high quality, we were given a generous welcome pack. There was ample supply of consumables ( toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, etc). The bed was very comfortable. We would love to visit again and definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the area. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Steve and Angela.

Stayed her for a few nights and was thoroughly pleased and delighted that we had chosen here to stay. The decor is art deco through and through with some really nice touches that create a really lovely atmosphere. Steve and Angela really make you feel at home and go beyond the norm to ensure you have a great stay. The breakfasts are amazing (far too much for me) with lovely touches that make them stand out from the norm. Will definitely use when next in Lee

This B&B was recommended by a family member that lives close by.
The service and cleanliness was excellent.
Breakfast was fantastic. There was a massive choice. The hosts checked on us regularly whilst eating to see if we would like anymore food or drinks.
Steve and Angela are exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Steve would not let us carry our cases up stairs he insisted on doing it for us.
Would definitely stay again next time we come to see family and would highly recommend it.

Having stayed year after year, we are running out of things to say about Milvil Corner.
In summary, it's brilliant;
Accommodation is excellent. The rooms are immaculately decorated to a high specification and are incredibly clean.
Breakfast is superb. We recommend the fresh salmon and poached egg on toast!
Garden: Immaculately manicured, with areas to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.
Steve and Angela: don't use Google - ask Steve and Angela! They are a mine of information, incredibly helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. You couldn't wish to meet nicer hosts who are very welcoming to guests.
You won't stay at a nicer place and describing it as a B&B is inaccurate. It's more like a top class boutique hotel. Stay here you will not regret it. Enjoy!

A lovely art deco house in a quiet leafy street just a 5-10 minute walk to the sea front. Angela and Steve are wonderful hosts and really know how to make visitors welcome. On arrival we were given tea and biscuits in the lovely garden. A lot of thought had gone into making the interior match the art deco exterior. We were in Maurice, one of the larger bedrooms, and very comfortable it was too. Because of COVID restrictions there were one or two little things missing from the room (eg cotton buds) but there was bottled water, tea, coffee and biscuits (fresh milk if you wanted it in the fridge downstairs), tissues, hand sanitizer, plus liquid soap in the shower room, which was also of a comfortable size, with large white fluffy towels. The breakfasts were excellent, and we can really recommend the egg and salmon with dill sauce - you don't have to have the spinach if you don't want it!
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Milvil Corner as THE best place to stay in this area, and will certainly be making another visit in the not too distant future.
