I stayed there just one night during a business trip. The place is a little hard to find but it is definitely worth of it. The building is very beautiful and also the room. You have a fantastic view of the lake and the surrounding territory. Given that the dinner and the breakfast were included in the total amount, it... More

Fantastic views from stunning immaculately clean pool, perfect location. However, disappointed to have a dark room at the back with no views, and tacky plastic cups/generic shampoo sachets. Dinner was fresh and great value on the brilliant terrace, but breakfast was terrible, stale bread and supermarket ham/cheese. The female hosts were great, the man not so much! So nearly a... More

We stayed for 4 nights at this lovely place. Although weather was not perfect we really enjoyed it. Many things to do in the area: like a small bike tour around the isle in the lake, visiting Bergamo and Brescia, and do not forget to take the hike around the pyramids of Zone! The diners were very good and we... More

I booked El Giardi as a contrast to the city places that we were staying in elsewhere on our Italian trip. Firstly, the place is 'out of the way' down narrow roads and up and down hills. But the directions on the website are perfectly fine for finding it. The place itself is a charming old house, owned by a... More

I have been fortunate to return to El Giardi several times and I am always bowled over by the warmth of the hosts, Anna and Pierangelo and their family and staff. They go above and beyond their role as hosts to the point where we felt like part of the family. At the same time the level of professionalism was... More

We just returned from our trip to Italy, Marone at Lago d'Iseo. We stayed in El Giardi for 2 weeks and we loved it! When we arrived we immediately knew this was a special place. Not only because of the spectacular view but also because of the great ambiance wich is set by the lovely family who is running the... More

We had two days to spare after staying elsewhere in Italy, so we chose this place. Mrs Anna and her husband couldn't have been more helpful, picking us up and delivering us to the station at no extra charge. Mrs Anna produced excellent vegetarian food at short notice, and her liquorice liqueur over icecream is an experience I'll not forget.... More

“There are rooms with a view of the lake but if you have children take a room at the back which has good access to a large grassy area and the pool. The view is everywhere so you definately wont miss out!”
