My daughter has just returned from a 12 day cruise on this ship. It was terrrible. She was violently sick for 4 days as were many other passengers. As they were getting off the boat yesterday there was a small printed sheet that she picked up (most people didn't) stating they had 2 types of NORO-VIRUS on board. and if...

1. Journey We took from Kirkenes to Tromso. The cruise was not very stable throughout the whole trip. Quite a few experienced sea sick during the 30+ hours. 2. Food Just acceptable only so we chose only to eat their buffet breakfast. The dinner is a fixed 3 course meal, with no option. They allow you to change the main...

We travelled from Bergen to Kirkenes on board MS Nordkapp the 2nd to last week of January. Our travel agent reinforced that this was a 3 star cruise (not what we are used to) BUT from the minute we boarded the ship we were very impressed. It is correct that there are not all the bells and whistles of a...

I do not mean to be harsh or rude about the company in any way. The staff from booking to leaving the ship were all wonderful. On arrival we were immediately upgraded because of, we think, my husband's birthday. We were given the bow suite, fruit and a bottle of bubbly. The 2 rooms were warm, spacious and very clean offering...

We (family of 4 with kids 13 and 15) LOVED our Hurtigruten cruise on the Nordkapp. Every day filled with breathtaking scenery up the coast of Norway, loads to do (how could anyone not be thoroughly entertained?) and daily stops with no necessity to do organised tours if your budget prevents, there are lovely little towns to be explored on...

There are some mixed reviews about Hurtigruten but I must say that we (myself and my wife) had an absolutely amazing experience, a real life-affirming experience from beginning to end. We made a real trip of it; a 12 day Bergen to Bergen round trip with a stay in Oslo on the way out and way back so i could...

Starting with the "Hits"! Efficient boarding at Kirkenes for our journey south to Bergen. Pleasant welcome, and a comfortable, though rather cramped cabin. Cabin bathroom floor heated, Had an arctic superior room (though I felt the term superior rather stretched the imagination) with a very large porthole and the advantage that there was no deck outside for people to walk...

We enjoyed our Arctic Cruise on MS Nordlys last month. We had booked a suite which was worth the extra for the space and the views. The staff were exceptional. In particular a special mention to our waitress and housekeeper Victoria, the Hotel Manager Anna who was very helpful when my wife wasnt well and the Expedition Team were very...

Our friend recommended us this cruise. We booked a full board 5-day trip from Bergen to Tromsø, staying in Arctic Superior room. Staffs were friendly and extremely helpful. They did really care about us and tried their best to make our trip as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We did manage to see the Northern Light although there was a...

This was the first time we'd been on any type of cruise - I'd always wanted to see the Northern Lights and husband had a long standing interest on travelling on a Hurtigruten ship. Neither of us were particularly keen to go on a 'posh' cruise so MS Nordnorge suited us just fine - Flight out to Oslo very good....
