This was the first time we'd been on any type of cruise - I'd always wanted to see the Northern Lights and husband had a long standing interest on travelling on a Hurtigruten ship. Neither of us were particularly keen to go on a 'posh' cruise so MS Nordnorge suited us just fine - Flight out to Oslo very good....

The MS Fram is a small ship compared to the gigantic cruise ships but it has a charm and a family feel that you won't get from a huge ship. Our group of 5 had a fantastic time. The expedition team and the mostly Filipino service crew are very friendly and very competent. We saw the Northern Lights 3x. The...

have just returned from a 10 day trip on the MS Nordlys part of the Hurtigruten line.We flew to Bergen from Gatwick airport. Would have preferred a more local airport in Yorkshire. All in all a very enjoyable experience. The ship was much nicer than I anticipated , the public rooms being very spacious and bright and clean. The cabins were compact,...

Before I check into the ship, I have to admit that I did not expect much about the cruise. Because I just needs transportation to Lofoten Islands. I tell you that Hurtigruten showed me practical & functionality of travel as well as exceptional Norwegian hospitality. I had the northbound voyage from Bergen to Hastard in early September 2016 in single...

A superb trip. The Fram is a small, friendly ship and we all got to recognise each other By the end of the voyage. Plenty of activities- kayaking, hiking, rib safaris, if fact more than we expected. Some hikes were free with the expedition team. Safety was treated very seriously on Svalbard where there was the possibility of Polar bears....

We found out our trip was cancelled the day we were supposed to board. Our sole purpose for using our frequent flyer points was this trip. Absolute chaos at hotel reception reorganising travel for 450 odd passengers...a nightmare...my husband and I would never book with them again

I will never use Hurtigruten again. I suggest you think twice before you do. We had booked for a trip on MS Finnmarken from Kristiansund to Bergen to take place on 18th August 2016. On 7th August we were informed by e-mail that our trip had been cancelled because of problems with the ship. When we telephoned on 8th August...

We made two trips: one northbound (1 night) from Tromsø to Honningsvåg near the north cape and one southbound (2 full days, 1 night) from honningsvåg to svolvær on the lofoten. First of all we liked the scenery, landscape and the calls in the different ports very much. For the food we only booked breakfast and lunch, both of them...

Our voyage was from Bergen to Geiranger. Including a night aboard the Hurtigruten. We booked our journey 3 months ahead, and we got a mail only a day before boarding, saying the ship MS Finnmarken has cancelled the voyage due to technical issues. When we called the Hurtigruten coordinator (our expence) we were told that we better have travel insurance, and...

It was a great journey as the nature delivered everything expected and more. Clean, reasonable sized cabin and nice, relaxed atmosphere. Good information and additional trips every day such as the one I took to Geiranger Fjord. On the minus side - the whole journey was quite expensive and since I travelled alone I had to pay much more than...
