We have spent a lovely weekend at the caban Cherry in April 2019 - just in one word "magical". Waking up with the sound of the birds and other animals, having a very varied breakfast full of local products on the sunny terrace, and being able to feel so relaxed, alone, in the forst is extraordinary. The cabans are all located a bit far from one another which allows you to feel alone and not to be "disturbed" by your neighbours. No access to electricity nor water in the tree hut, makes it even better to go back to the basics and enjoy the silence and nature. The explications upon arrival are very clear and simple, and the check in towards your cabin is only takes a few minutes.

We stayed in one of the zipline cabans, for which you need to be a bit sporty - to arrive like this in the cute little tree hut gave us some adrenaline, after which you desserve to relax in the caban and still walk around freely in the forst. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

A friend of ours took us on a French Adventure in July and he thought we should stay in the Treehouses of Bois Landry, and it was great! It's a lovely place to escape the everyday humdrum of the city and go back to basics in nature! We had a really lovely time and the food we got was delicious! If you love relaxing outdoors and being one with nature again, then this is the place for you!

We really had a wonderful stay at Bois Landry. Our Cabane Duplex was hidden in the woods and provided us with a lot of peace and tranquility. Everything we hoped for and more. The caban was very nicely decorated and romantic. We very much enjoyed our little breakfast in the morning while the sun was shining through the trees, birds were singing and deer were passing by under our feet. The employees of Bois Landry were all very friendly and helpfull. We would really recommend everyone looking for a nice get a way of a hectic life to enjoy the serenity of this beautiful location.

Four of us stayed in the Demoiselles cabin for one night, to break up a journey back from the Loire to Calais. We had stayed at the same site (different cabin) a few years earlier, looked forward to returning and were not dissapointed!
On arrival we were greeted by a very cheerful multi-lingual guide, who gave an enthusiastic introduction to the site and how everything worked, before delivering us to the cabin in an electric buggy.
The cabin was far enough away from any other that we felt we had the forest to ourselves, except of course for the owls etc who provided a soundtrack. A set of stairs lead to a platform, from which you then crossed a rope bridge to another platform, before climbing a ladder to the cabin itself. The cabin does move from side to side when teenagers are messing about on the rope bridge!!!
There's just enough room inside for four in poor weather, with a table and chairs, and the dry toilet is in a seperate compartment for a little privacy. There's space for table and chairs again on the decking outside in better weather, though the hatch for the ladder is in the middle of the floorspace (watch out if its open!). With the provided torch and candles there is just enough light, though we also used the extra lights we had with us. Bottles of water are provided on arrival, but bring some drinks and snacks for the evening, if you are not ordering the evening meals.
A nice breakfast was delivered to the hoist at 9am.
Back at reception there are 'wet' (!) toilets, but there are only two of them and they are in combined toilet / washroom / shower rooms. Top tip - have a shower in the evening instead of waiting to use one of these rooms in the morning: As the breakfasts are served at around 9am, and everyone departing that day has to be off by 11am, with many tree houses two bathrooms are not really enough. When we had a walk down to the reception / garden area in the evening, there was no-one about, and there is a games/coffee room, area with outdoor seating and games, and ponies and llamas (to look at) to pass the time while you take it in turns in the showers.
We will defintley return to this site again.

Enjoyable family getaway not far from Paris where tree house dreams come true. Friendly welcome, well spaced-out and inconspicuous cabins with plenty of room. Easily accessed - but do choose depending on ability/adventurousness! Tasty - and copious - meals. Immersion in nature garanteed - a blackbird was nesting right next to our front door! Lovely forest walks - don't forget your camera/binoculars! Open air games for all on hand at reception (table tennis/badminton/...) plus lounge and nice, clean shower block. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

We were in Demoiselles caban. You feel alone in big & high woods. No electricity, no water. Dry toilets. Take enough clothes for the cold & rain even in summer. When it rains it gets freezing in the morning. Also, they dont provide enough lights. Go absolutely with candles. It gets very dark there. We brought put own picnic so no surprises with the dinner they offer. Breakfast is ok. Not waouh. It´s a worth to do expérience.

Third cabin that we rent in Bois Landry and still just as much fun.
A very warm welcome, very beautiful cabins, clean bedding, a hearty breakfast 👍

The small downside is the price, especially of evening meals which remains high but very good on the other hand with local products

Thanks to the Bois Landry team!

Very beautiful site, warm welcome and great availability from the manager. Very generous breakfast! The boat available is a real plus.
Apart from being woken up at dawn by the barnacle geese posted on the roof, everything was absolutely perfect!

Beautiful place where you can recharge your batteries.
Very nice welcome.
The Cocoon cabin is very pretty. The best way to get there is by zip line.
The meal and breakfast very well served.
Just the meal which was a little lacking in heat.
Great experience.
Do not hesitate.

Les chiens sont ils autorisés? Merci
Answer from Bois L
Champrond-en-Gatine, France2 contributions10 helpful votes
