My wife and I stayed at Mallards for a friend's wedding and we were superbly looked after! The owner, Diane, is extremely friendly and welcoming and the room we stayed in was huge, immaculate and beautifully furnished. Great en suite too! Breakfasts were superb - beautifully cooked, local produce and more than enough to keep us very happy! We cannot...

I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at this establishment last weekend. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and were even offered help with our things. We were then led into a beautifully kept house and room. Everything seemed spotless, comfortable and homely. A very comfortable bed and great amenities led to a...

Our stay at Mallards was nothing short of perfect. The b&b itself is beautiful and pristine, the breakfast was excellent and the owners were so accommodating, helpful and friendly; even when it came to my own stupidity of leaving something in the room they were quick to help. The b&b is just a 5 min walk away from the lovely...

Recently stayed at this lovely B&B for a wedding nearby. Nigel and Diane were just brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, we even got a lift from Diane to the manor house, thank you so much. Nigel the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. The rooms were very comfortable and we were made to feel very at...

Could not wish for a more friendly and welcoming host. Splendid en-suite room with appealing furniture and decoration. Complimentary tea/coffee and toiletries in the room were nice. Choice of breakfasts, we chose the continental option for our two night stay which included cereal, toast, croissants, preserves, tea, coffee, fruit and yogurt, which we enjoyed very much. The area is a...

A peaceful location, quiet and appealing, at the end of a lane of thatched cottages. Our host was warm and welcoming. We stayed in the standard room. The bed was very comfortable and the room well equipped with TV, internet, tea-making etc. It had a lovely view down the lane and to the woods beyond. The adjacent bathroom was well...

Spent one night here last month. Even though Moreton is a nice little town and the house is clean and well kept, the stay was WAY too expensive for the kind of service. Instead of towels (like the usual white towels you get in hotels and b&bs, usually washed at high temperatures) we were given 2 coloured beach towels. Instead...

“Although I loved the little village setting, and the host was more than happy to drive us to our destinations when she could, this B&B is several miles from tourist destinations, so you may find yourself having to spend extra on taxis or facing long walks to get around. Our host mentioned that she might secure some bicycles in the near future, which would solve this problem nicely!”
