Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everything was just so lovely, the room, the restaurant and the staff. The food quality was amazing and the best meal we’ve had in a long time! The staff were great and welcoming, our waitress Chelsea was bubbly and professional. Such a nice treat and experience for 2 people who don’t manage to do this sort of thing hardly ever! Thank you

My husband and I went for lunch here about 3 months before and thought it was very good so planned to come back for an evening meal. The meal was very disappointing, poorly cooked (tough beef, chicken and broccoli, overcooked rice) and presented. Staff pleasant but a bit over the top - far too many 'Amazing's and 'guys'!

This place is a little gem, it's got character from the outside, lovely big modern rooms/bathrooms. With a sofa area as you walk in. Phil and all the staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Amazing value too. Top chef too, the slow cooked Ribs were falling off the bone melt in your mouth , food was great and good value again. Really recommend this place for a stay and or meal /drinks. We need to keep these local independent pubs going especially supporting them through the winter months . Thanks Emma

The rooms are quite large with large smart TVs.The food is surprisingly good and the staff are all fantastic and extremely helpful going out of their way to assist your needs. There is a large carpark to the rear with CCTV. Top tip if you want a room with a bath, get one on the ground floor .

Our family of 8 stayed over the Christmas period and I cannot thank Phil and his team enough for the fantastic service they gave us. From the time we booked to the end of our stay nothing was a problem or too much trouble. The staff always had a smile on their faces and were very helpful and friendly. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and we would definitely all come and stay again.

I booked the wrong date, but Phil sorted it without fuss and we had a relaxing stay. Then my son left his phone behind but they rang us quickly and again we were able to relax. The Dinner and breakfast were also excellent and very good value.

We arrived on a very cold wintry day to find ourselves in a very cold Frampton Arms reception and an unheated Bedroom. The air con didn't work and we had to rely on an electric heater which we had to keep on day and night for our 3 night stay. The public rooms were very cold too. Otherwise, very friendly staff with good food, but, oh dear, we won't be back.

had a meal here on a saturday eve, from minute we walked in we were met with a very friendly atmosphere, quickly shown to our seats, waitress (Becca i think her name was) quickly organised drinks, Then starters and main course orders taken , starters all came out very quickly and food was great, waitress checked food was good and arranged more drinks efficiently, followed by main courses, all food was great, all hot and service being perfect. on the deserts there was a mis communication on one of the deserts and this was very quickly rectified with out any hesitation at all. when waitress was clocking off for the evening, she spoke to us, and let us know who would now be serving us which was great, nothing like be left with no one. price, we had a 3 course meal with 3 rounds drinks and that was £50 per person which was excellent for what we got and yes we will be going back again

We ate at this Pub and also enjoyed a meal here, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was well cooked I had the Camembert follwed by the Duck, which were huge portions, with a bottle of Pinot Grigio. A bonus was the short stroll from our Campsite . The Pub has various different areas, we were in the Conservatory and enjoyed drinks in the main bar.
