The perfect house for all 12 of us, three generations. The farm house was amazing, lots of space for our family Christmas holiday week. We have made fabulous memories around the kitchen table while cooking, eating and drinking. The gardens and play area where great for the little people and the dog to play. We had a very special Christmas...

We stayed in The Flint for a long weekend in Jan 2017 (with our dog). Cannot fault, absolutely perfect cottage & weekend. Lovely walks straight from the cottage door, lovely local pub within walking distance & a great base for exploring Dorset. This was our 2nd visit and we will definitely be back again!

We were looking for a house to accommodate a group of us for a 50th Birthday, we were 16 adults, so we used all the accommodation that was on offer. What an amazing place, it suited our needs perfectly & the whole house has been done up very well, I would recommend this to anyone. What was even better we...

We were looking for a special house for a long weekend to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday. Our family consists of 10 adults, 6 grand children and 2 dogs. We needed an indoor pool and a welcoming environment. We found that at Launceston farm. What an amazing place. The decor is tasteful, the house so cosy with log fires in...

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. It's a great place for all the family generations to come together and we are so pleased you made full use of all the facilities - including the outdoor bath which given the freezing temperatures goes to show it's never too cold for an outdoor dip! We look forward to seeing you...

So, we'd like a farmhouse in the Dorset countryside, preferably with six bedrooms en-suite, dining room and kitchen each large enough to comfortably seat all eleven of us plus two infants, a couple of living rooms, each with a fireplace and oh, we'd love a swimming pool and sauna! Couldn't throw in a fabulous pub next door could you?!! You...

We had our family Christmas there so we could all get togeather. All 8 off us had an amazing time. Would recomend to any one. Dont expect to much internet use as the signal is week but we didn't have time to use it much as we utilised the indoor pool. We were given a small hamper when we arrived...

Thank you so much for choosing us for your Christmas celebration. It's such a special time of year for families so I am thrilled to hear we ticked all your boxes! I agree, our internet provision is not as good as it should be. We are on the waiting list for Super Fast Broadband which we have been assured will...

Our 2nd visit celebrated our wedding anniversary, the addition of the pool enhanced the visit. We could not resist the outdoor bath again and no matter how cold having a soak under the sky is wonderful difficult to appreciate but to be recommended. We did not discover the local walks apart from the Pub but stunning views just a short...

Those are some of our absolute favourite walks in the area - particularly the Airfield and Fontmell Down. I'm so glad you enjoyed your wedding anniversary celebrations and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Myself and my wife stayed in 'Flint' for the last 3 nights and I have to say it exceeded our expectations by a long long way. In a quiet idyllic location if you are looking for a relaxing country break then this is by far the best we have ever been too. We were looking to book at the last...

Booked as a last minute overnight on the way to the South coast we didn't know what to expect and were really chuffed to find a fantastic farmhouse with massive rooms, a massive, comfortable bed and a huge bathroom with a stand alone bath, great shower, a choice of magazines and really nice shampoos, lotions and bits and pieces. We were there for 2 nights (Parsonage) in order to go to Great Dorset Steam Fair, which this B&B is very convenient for. Lovely location, pretty villages, smashing farmhouse and grounds. Very warm welcome and we were looked after very well. Thank you. Sorry to hear it will not be a B&B after October (but self catering accommodation will be...
