Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are looking for a tranquil site with beautiful gardens/grounds and excellent facilities..staff who are always on hand to help..well stocked on-site shop and an outdoor swimming pool then look no further. We have been visiting Trewan Hall for the past 15 years and wouldn’t stay any where else when we come to Cornwall . Always sad to leave but so good to know that once again we will be back next year.. It’s such a relaxing and happy place..!

I have to say the site was brilliant, but for me staff always very helpful but Santa on his tractor was great he’s always helpful and always has a great attitude he helped us out without hesitation he typifies the whole staff that are always ready to help and always have a very friendly smile and attitude towards you the food in the barnyard is great and the entertainment is great. The staff are one reason why we go back year after year

Lovely natural site, not been to anywhere like this. So relaxed and different to other camp sites, entertainment really good and loved the summer fete. Lots of space to explore and pool was great. Was a bit cold and wet weather so great that they put the dome on the pool as felt warmer and more comfortable . Loved the little herb garden, the barn and the indoor library. All very unique. Kids loved the free tractor ride that was on offer. Little shop really nice. All in all great atmosphere and will defiantly recommend and come back next year. Also good location as close by to roads to link the lots of places to explore. Also a co-op in the local town which is handy. Shower and toilets nice and kept well. Highlight though was seeing the st Dennis band. Will never forget that and the best band I have seen. They made it really fun as well. Looking forward to the story teller owed.

Stayed before & came back for 2nd time was lovely not too busy and weather was good again . All facilities were clean and tidy every day , pool was closed and it looked like it will be open soon shame as it would have been nice for a swim on the warmer days . Good place to stay as only 6 miles from Padstow and only a sort drive to other beaches .

We visited in August. It was everything that the other reviews had said it to be. Trewen hall has beautiful grounds with quaint buildings that are in keeping with the feel of Cornwall. The staff are friendly and helpful. The shop is well stocked with fresh cakes in the morning. The warm outdoor swimming pool is a nice size with a diving board which all the kids enjoyed bouncing off of. I have camped at many different sites over the years and the showers at this site are the cleanest I have ever used. There are washing machines and reasonable priced massive tumble dryers which are very handy. The evening entertainment was enjoyable. We had fun playing table tennis. The campsite is quiet and all the other campers were friendly. I would like to personally thank Rocky ( security/caretaker) - I haven't used my tent in a few years and on this trip it unfortunately leaked. Whilst our tent dried out, Rocky helped by giving myself and 2 kids a dry tent to stay in for the night for FREE. I was very grateful for this. We also bought tarpaulin from the shop to help protect my tent for the rest of the week. The location is great to get out and explore Cornwall. I will be rebooking to visit next year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Firstly the site is one of the best kept and quiet sites I have ever been, that is until the evening entertainment in the courtyard and then its party time (if you want), the acts are top quality and to be able to sup your own ale while watching 80s, 90s, 00s and brass bands is just the icing on the cake The pool is great even if one of the lifeguards is a tad OTT with the rules, but I suppose its for H&S The cook outs are okay if a little pricey to be fair, but again nobody is forcing you to buy. The location is perfect for the Cornwall area, 15-10mins from St Austell, Newquay, Padstowe, Watergate Bay Highly recommend to all ages Booking for nest year this week

Visited here in August for a few days with the family. We are very lucky to live close to the Campsite so we don't have to travel far to enjoy all that the site has to offer. It was out first time staying here and we will definitely be back. They have so much for the kids to do and lovely open spaces for everyone to enjoy. It's a beautiful site and I would definitely recommend to everyone! Bear agrees!

Great location, near some of the most amazing beaches, excellent pool (warm). Facilities well kept, great evening entertainment and onsite food 4 nights per week. We were able To choose our pitch which was fab. Onsite shop offered lots of foods, ready made sandwiches and salads and if up early enough, fresh bread and pastries. Will defo go back.
