This was our second visit & won’t be our last! We booked last minute, & stayed in Ebron with our 12yr son & dog (although it can sleeps 8). The safari glamping is incredible, EVERY amenity & the welcome box even included dog treats/water bowl, beautiful fluffy towels, dining area, sofa, toiletries, log burner, storm lanterns, bbq, swing chair & fairy lights on the veranda….I could go! Most enjoyable is the peace & tranquility, you can lay in your super cosy large bed & listen to the stream, & wake up to the birds. Could not recommend it any higher, 10/10 - Thank you!

We’ve just enjoyed 4 nights in Kensa, myself, wife & 2 daughters (4&7). We greatly enjoyed our time here and was something very different from our normal type of holiday. We loved the pod, it was very cosy and everything that you need is thought of. Our girls loved going to bed at night with the provided hot water bottles and we would relax in the evening by a fire. The breakfast basket is very good and would recommend it. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked a couple of nights. Beds were very comfortable, with nice feather pillows. I would imagine this kind of break without kids would be wonderful! I would highly recommend the Rising Sun pub, the food and service was exceptional. I would avoid the Jamaica Inn! Tourist trap. terrible deep fried or microwave food. Widemouth bay was a great beach! The only thing I would suggest that could be improved on was the bathroom sink. Might sound petty, but it is very high and too small for children to reach. Ours kids our self sufficient, but would need help to brush their teeth or wash their hands. It’s also a bit awkward and small for adults as well, it’s a cloakroom sink, not ideal for bathrooms. There’s room for a bigger one 🙂 Thanks Ekopod

2nd visit to this lovely glamping site, this time staying in Kensa, last time in Steren, both absolutely fabulous! The accommodation is so comfortable and well thought out, from the wood burner to the kitchen and bathroom area. Having a bubble bath with a glass of wine and gorgeous views was one of the highlights of our stay! We ordered the breakfast hamper, which was delicious and plentiful, and easy to cook in the well equipped kitchen. Having stayed here twice, it’s fair to say we’d easily stay again! Tip - if you’re looking for privacy, all accommodations are great, but I would say Kensa is definitely the most private / not overlooked. We were lucky enough to have great weather for both of our stays and had some beautiful clear nights to see the stars, great spot for stargazers! Thank you for another fantastic stay!

Just back from a week long stay at Ekopod (we were in Ebron, one of the glamping tents) and I do not have the words to say how brilliant it was. This is glamping done to perfection. Absolute peace - other than the running stream. Great kitchen set up with all you need to feed a family of 3 monsters (8, 11 & 12) - bbq well used - full bathroom set up, and three brilliant bedrooms - awesome 4-poster set up for me & hubby, double bed in wall for almost teen & double bunks for the other, so no arguing over who got top bunk! Comfy mattresses, super soft duvets, blankets galore and hot water bottles available! Awesome! We rushed nowhere, we sat & did a lot of not a lot, the kids loved being able to wander around freely and play games in the barn - and then we made our way through the twisty, turns north Cornwall roads and visited beaches and coves and little towns and and… We could have spent way longer here & loved every minute. Not sure I’ve stayed at more lovely places around the world. I loved it. Truly magical… (& even the hubby loved it… and he’s a proper hotel kind of guy.) Do it. Stay here. You will not regret it!

We love it here!! Arrived in the rain and it has pretty much been raining the whole time, but if you ask me, it made the experience even more cosy and we were forced to relax! The woodburner is amazing and adds to the atmosphere and the pod really comes into it's own at night with the fire and candles for light. Having a candlelit bath at night was lovely and we had a breakfast hamper delivered which was very tasty. At least next time we come we will have someting new to experience hopefully, the sun and stars, as we saw a few but it was pretty cloudy during our stay. Can't wait to stay again and hopefully for a little longer.

Just got home from an amazing 3 night stay in nessa pod. This place is amazing never felt so relaxed the super king size bed is so comfy and we slept like babies, every little detail has been thought of down to the tea/coffee/hot chocolate jars as-well as the app you can download before your stay which gives recommendations of different walks/pubs/beaches etc . The fairy lights inside and outside made the perfect cosy night setting we can’t wait to stay again and already looking at dates to come back.

The location was lovely and peaceful. Very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the little extras of tea/milk/coffee/hot chocolate. This place could of been better tho… when we arrived the pod was very very cold, it took us ages to get it at a comfortable temperature to be able to take are coats off, also the door gave a lot of draft so we ended up using pillows to block the draft out. On arrival solar lights were not working but we’re replaced the next day. The bathroom doors were not secure and woke us on many occasions swinging in the wind. We also found the bath could of done with a scrub. Overall this place seemed very tired and damp and very overpriced. It was definitely a different experience but had a few things letting it down.

We were so sorry to receive your average score, it's the first 3* we've had across any review platform in the 5 years we've been in business, so we were so disappointed. We run this business with the hope to provide an excellent experience for all our guests. I obviously spoke to your partner as soon as I got this feedback and was really relieved to hear he thought the pod was lovely as I didn't get that impression from your review! I completely understand that going glamping for the first time, during the mini beast from the east on a weekend where it rained the whole time and had 70mph winds must have been a bit different and a bit disappointing! However, I really don't think are overpriced. Our product is very high quality and we try to source everything as ethically and responsibly as we can so our price is reflective of this. I spend a lot of time on our prices trying to balance our costs with the experience and we're really transparent in our offering. I don't think you'll find many, if any, glamping sites, of the same quality, to be cheaper than us. We frequently get comments on what good value for money we are and that people have booked us because of our price! With regard to your other comments we've taken them on board and hopefully made improvements. As the pods are off grid and use the wood burners in the winter it can take an hour to bring the pod up to temperature. Unusually Eyl had been empty for that week, when it had dipped down to minus six, so with hindsight what we should have done was light it during the day so that when you turned up it wouldn't have taken so long to heat up. This was something your partner suggested on our call and going forward we have been doing this, so your feedback on this was very helpful. Our normal guest feedback in storms is that it's really cosy sitting in front of the fire with a hot chocolate/ glass of wine watching mother nature do it's bit outside. So hopefully it was just the time that it took on your stay and the changes we made will stop that happening for future guests I'm really sorry that the bath wasn't clean enough. We have a double check system - so our cleaners (who have all been with us for years) have their check list then we double check everything. So we normally have nothing about positive comments about our cleaning. So I want to reassure you that your experience here wasn't normal and I'm so sorry that was the case for you. We have discussed our checking processes and updated our checks list to hopefully ensure this doesn't happen again. Finally with the door, we hadn't tested that bolt in such extreme conditions. We changed it on the Monday after we got this feedback. I really wish you had told me when I saw you when I was changing the lights as I could have done it for you for your stay as well! Once again I'm so sorry that you didn't have the excellent experience we hope to provide. Our whole motivation for Ekopod is provide a wonderful stay for our guests. Hopefully you're happy with the changes we've made following your stay and you may want to give us another try in the future! Best wishes, Rachael

We really could not rate this place high enough. We arrived in the pouring rain to a roaring wood burner and lit candles, after Rachel adapted things to secure our Houdini of a dog..The bed was one of the most comfortable we had ever slept in, the location gorgeous and the Pods warm and relaxing. We will be back asap, if you fancy something slightly different that still delivers on comfort book here. 5 stars all the way!!!!

Stayed in kemper. One of the safari tents. My daughter and I clean these throughout the year and we're kindly offered by Matt and Rachael to stay there. Seven of spent Saturday night there and we had the most amazing experience. With no electric we entertained ourselves with old fashioned board games and a pack of cards. The fire was loved by us all!!! Proper family time Thankyou Matt and Rachel you have a site to be super proud of.
