Very nice retreat we stayed at the Millers it was a peaceful stay nice relaxing views around you with all the equipment you need to live inside the cottage, you have a laundry room and play room with plenty of parking and nice walks around the cottage and lodges, I’m not too great with dogs but there dogs were friendly and well behaved. Great place to stay if you are exploring North Cornwall which has plenty to see and only took ma 1 and a bit to get to Porthcurno.

We had an enjoyable week at Ta Mill. We stayed in a lodge as a family of 4. Overall a comfortable and relaxing stay, and a good base for exploring the area. The lodge had everything we needed but as we were staying a week we found that the fridge was too small to hold enough food and meant we had to make more shopping trips than we would have liked for a self catering holiday. It would have also been nice if towels had been changed during the week without having to ask. There was also insufficient space to dry towels between use which became a frustration over the week. Given that our lodge also had its own hot tub, a solution for drying towels would really help. The lack of shower door also meant that the bathroom floor and mat were drenched after all 4 of us had used the shower. Again, there was no way of drying the mat between uses, and this again became more frustrating as the week went on. Overall had we been staying for 3 nights this would be a 5 star review, but over a week we found too many issues to maintain that rating. We would consider again, but only for short stay as the lodges are not suitable for a one week self catering stay.

We stayed at Ta Mill in early Aug. The location was a stunning and the hot tub was fantastic. Probably one of the warmest hot tubs we have had on a holiday. Unfortunately the chalet accommodation really wasn’t great, it needs a lot of updating and each time we used the oven it set the smoke alarms off. Our biggest issue here was the dogs. They have two puppy beagles (big puppies) that are just left to roam the area, and they aren’t exactly well behaved. They kept coming into our chalet when we had the doors open which our dog didn’t like so we had to kept dragging them out. At one point when they were chasing our much smaller dog whilst they went by under watch of the owners, we picked up our dog and one of them started biting at my daughters cardigan which really frightened her. I did message Kamilla during our stay and she did say that she would only let them out early in the morning and the evening which she did, she also started walking them on leads more regularly, but unfortunately the dogs would still make their way into the chalet if the doors were open in the morning and evening. I also watched a man with a baby strapped to him trying to get his smaller dogs out of this car, he was surrounded by the dogs and was being barked at by one, that mustn’t have been a nice experience for him. If you’re not a fan of dogs or you are bringing a nervous dog with you this probably isn’t a good option of a place to stay. It would have been nicer if it wasn’t for the added hassle of the rogue dogs. We spent a lot of money on this holiday and it was just a shame it wasn’t more relaxing.

This was our 3rd trip to Ta Mill. This time staying in Ta Mill house. This accommodation was perfect for 9 of us . There was plenty of space and the house is well equipped .If you are short of anything Kamila and her team will do their best to sort you out. This is a wonderful site . Everywhere is very clean and the grounds are well kept. It is very peaceful with it's lake and woodland walk and if you are an animal lover there are very friendly goats sheep and Alpacas. There is also a well equipped laundry and games room and an open sided marque with comfortable seating. Well placed for visiting the many attractions in North Cornwall. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay this is the place for you

Wonderful place for a get away! Peaceful picturesque surroundings but with lots to do on site - games room, pitch n putt, kids play area, countryside walks and much more. Kamilla is a great host making sure we had everything we needed. Great location for visiting the local area, and some amazing beaches a short ride away. Would highly recommend a stay at Ta Mill.

Just got back from a fantastic family holiday at Ta Mill. The new owners went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and nothing was too much to ask. There was over 30 of us so this place was perfect for a family holiday. There is a games room with table tennis, darts, pool and even arts and crafts activities for kids. There is a great play park which kept the kids entertained for hours and we even played golf on their mini golf course. It is remote and perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle back home. There are optional extras avaliable depending on what you want from your holiday. This is the perfect place for a family holiday, however large your family is!

Fabulous location and the cottage we stayed in was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The grounds were also fantastic and Kamila was very accommodating, the hot tub should definitely be on your list of to-dos!! Would certainly recommend it to friends and family, and strangers on TripAdvisor :D
