The accommodation is very comfortable, we had lots of space and a big balcony to relax upon. The pool and grounds are amazing and perfect for those who don’t love hot sand. The location was perfect for us. In a quieter bit of town but close to the Comercial street of Rinconada and beaches, and a short walk from the main road to catch an “bus” or a taxi to la punta or Zicatella. Luis, Athelena and The staff bend over to accommodate your every need. My wife had a big birthday during our stay and they organised her favourite breakfast to be brought to the room with a bottle of fizz and also arranged a bouquet of flowers, which was fantastic. Magda cooks a wonderful variety of Mexican breakfasts and if you’re adventurous you’re in for a treat, but I’m sure if you asked she could make you something you wanted. The whole place has a feel of a very relaxed house, ran by people that are not trying to be nice and helpful, but genuinely are nice and helpful people. They also brew their own beer, which is very good! Crack open a bottle of beer on the terrace and take in the Pacific ocean vista from the top floor. Wonderful!…

What a great place this is. Perfectly located to explore the area. All the staff are fantastic; so friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious with a large terrace and great views. The Villa brews it’s own beer which we enjoyed sampling from the honesty bar (as well as some mezcal). Traditional Mexican dish offered at breakfast. Lovely grounds and pools/jacuzzis to enjoy. Highly recommend!

I spent a week at Villa Lili in December; as a woman traveling alone it is always nerve wracking arriving at a new place but I had no need to be nervous. Villa Lili is a truly unique hotel - I felt like I was staying with old friends. My room was a great size and came with a small kitchen and terrace, the breakfasts were lovely and I cannot express enough how kind and welcoming Adelina and her family are. The hotel is a great location for those not wanting to be in the main Zicatela, there are a couple of great beaches within walking distance and the area is fairly quiet. I ended up spending most of my time by the pool as it was just so relaxing and I was at the end of a long trip. I would travel back to Puerto Escondido just to stay at Villa Lili and will recommend it to any of my friends travelling there.…

We stayed in Villa Lilli for 4 nights and were really happy that we found this nice place which was like a home away on our travels. The communication with Louis was excellent and the whole team there was great. We travel with our son (3 years) and all of us enjoyed the stay there. We stayed in the room with the jacuzzi which was a real treat as well but also without that it would have been a pleasure. Thanks to the whole team if we ever return to Puerto Escondido we will try to stay there again.

The room, the outdoor area, the atmosphere, the breakfast, the family - everything about Villa Lili is beautiful. We had a fabulous stay and can only recommend the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area, but very close to Benito Juarez Boulevard & the big market. By cab you can reach Zicatela beach and La Punta in a few minutes.

I had a fantastic time at Villa Lili. The location was superb to Carrizalillo and Boulevard Benito Juarez & its various restaurants and cafes. It's also a quick taxi ride to Zicatela/La Punta. The suite I stayed in was set up with everything I needed and was cleaned every day. It had a kitchen/dining area that I did not use during my brief stay, but would be fantastic for larger families or longer stays. There's also a lovely pool/lounging area for days you want to skip the beach but still get your rays. The best part of this hotel was the daily breakfast and the family/staff. Everyone is so wonderful here and willing to help you out with anything you need- recommendations, calling taxis, checkin/out times, a good conversation. I can't wait to come back to Puerto Escondido and stay with the Chavez family again!…

We had a superb time at Villa Lili. Everything was super clean and stylish. The family were really friendly in a low key non invasive way. Best of all was the breakfast which was different every day and freshly prepared using local produce. We enjoyed our beautiful apartment which was cleaned every day with care. We had a huge balcony, hammock and jacuzzi and the proximity to the beach was so convenient. Especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool with the house brewed beer which was delicious. Thankyou so much, you made the end of our month long visit to Mexico a happy lifelong memory.

This December we returned to Villa Lily after a four-year break and found it to be even better than before. The hotel has been renovated to surprise us with multiple upgrades. For example, our room includes a kitchen now and its layout has been improved. The common dining and bar area has been also improved. The Starlink satellite internet even exceeded our expectations; we were able to stream Netflix movies without any interruption! Our Exotica master suite was a gorgeous space with a good ocean view when the room and the rest of hotel facilities were kept clean. Staying at Villa Lili always feels homelike and friendly. We started our day with couple hours walking along the Bacocho Beach or just relaxing at the nearest Carrizalillo or Manzanillo beach. The hotel breakfast was always delicious and unique. There are also quite a few good restaurants just behind the corner to explore for lunch and dinner. This review of Villa Lili would not be complete without mentioning the hostess Adelina, her brother Luis and the rest of hotel staff who were very friendly and always helpful. Thanks to the guys, our two-week vacation got even better! For us it is a no-brainer, we are going to come to Villa Lili next winter.…

A perfect place to stay with our 5 year. It was safe, relaxed, clean and very easy. The breakfasts were outstanding and quite often we didn’t even need lunch. A child friendly hotel - I appreciated the various spaces out of the sun to relax, the two different pools and their depths and the friendly and relaxed nature of the the entire family and staff. I highly recommend if you are staying on this side of PE.

we had such a great time at Villa Lili. we went as a couple, and had a beautiful room at the top of the house, with a private terrasse. the villa is very pretty (decoration /swimming pool etc) and straight away we felt like at home. The owner is very nice and so is the staff (Magdalena) who prepared amazing typical breakfast for us you are walking distance from nice bars and restaurant, and can go surfing to the beginner beach (playa Carrizalillo) which is super pretty. if I m going back to Puerto escondido, I ll come back here for sure!
