This is a family site , wouldn’t recommend if you want a nice peaceful stay. Pitch 4 is hemmed in a corner and overlooked as well as overlooking a kids play area. As a couple travelling with no children this site was totally unsuitable. There was litter everywhere on the grass and all the bins overflowing. Location is excellent- such a shame.

Such a lovely spot! We have come here in the past with the kids and it is always a family favourite! 😊 The location is great, and Port William is really one of the best spots in Scotland. Plenty to do in the area for young ones. Lots of nice food in the area. Good to fish off the port aswell! 🎣

Amazing community run campsite! The views are out of this world! Stunning sunsets. We had pitch 1 which was so private - loads of space too. Wardens super friendly. Toilet facilities very clean. Free washer/ fridge/ freezer. Great info. on local area. Free games and books too. Best to go with all supplies you need ( local cafe closed Mon - Wed) although Spar shop and sandwich shop in village. Brilliant stay. Thank you so much!

Lovely wee stop off on a trip through Galloway. Great beach location. Nicely maintained. Toilet block nice and clean. 5 minute walk to the shops and bar/cafe at the harbour. Run on behalf of the village as well.

2nd visit to kings green, camping 🏕️ for a few nights..... Lovely site, right on the beautiful pebble beach... Very peaceful and relaxing.. only downside was the ground for the tent pegs, but good durable ones and our stay was excellent.

Lovely clean site, staff very helpful and welcoming. The facilities were spotlessly clean. The view from pitch was gorgeous, we could see the Mull of Galloway lighthouse clearly The walk into the village was nice & flat, easy for those who have mobility issues.

Set on the beautiful Dumfries and Galloway coast this is a hidden treasure. The site and the amenities are kept immaculate. The whole village is lovely and very community led. Great to visit anytime but especially good at the carnival week in August.

Had a wonderful four days. The facilities are excellent and maintained to a very high standard. The lady on reception was very helpful when I asked about places for dinner and wrote down a number of restaurants with contact details. The situation is stunning looking out over the water. Will definitely be back!

The site has a beautiful location and clean toilets and showers. The staff are very helpful and work hard to keep everything spotless. The village playpark borders the site so our kids had a lovely time playing. Plus it's next to the sea so no midges!

I stayed there for 3 nights with my family and in-laws in our motorhomes.... Great flat pitches on dry grass - immediate access to pebbled beach which with good ankles you can walk all the way to the village harbour. Amazing skies and in good weather like we had wonderfully peaceful in the sea air and breeze to relax and unwind. Staff very friendly and helpful and working around the remaining covid restrictions quite well. The team at Kings Green do a great job for Port William as a village and with this and The View coffee shop and restaurant then although some old businesses in village have gone by the wayside they ensure Port William is a really great place to relax by the Irish seas with views to Mull of Galloway, Isle of Man and Ireland from the campsite or very nearby
