Friendly B & B with thoughtful touches and an excellent breakfast. Beautiful area with lots to do. The B & B is well placed as a base for a touring holiday in SW Scotland, which is a sadly underrated part of Scotland. Your hosts are also knowledgable regarding the area.

Completely satisfied with our stay. Everything we could have needed was there. The room was comfortable, peaceful and cosy. The view is lovely. Also, plenty of choice for breakfast. We'd definately go back.

is it walking distance to restaurants
Sorry for delay in answering - been away! The Clansman is a half-mile 10 minute stroll from Hawthorn House - it is the restaurant we would recommend. It does not open on Mondays and it is certainly advisable to book in advance. Hope this helps.
