It feels like home our 11th year of visiting jinack lodge. Perfect relaxing holiday again. The beach was deserted when we went on it.the staff were brilliant as usual. Bannana pancakes were to die for. Thanks Binta and Faatu. Ourlodge had a tiled outdoor area at the front and back.sitting outdoors on a morning watching the parrots and the wildlife come so close to us was amazing. New years eve was spent with Bamba and other guests dancing, playing djembi drums chatting and watching the fireworks on the mainland.it was a delightful holiday. Our Thanks go to everyone at jinack
Our view the room was excellent very clean and comfortable bed. Food very good and our host. The journey to Jinack was an amazing experience through national park by jeep dugout boat to island donkey cart to lodge. Would definitely recommend
Jinack Island and Jinack lodge we will never forget. Beautifull location on an island with no traffic, nu rush, no stress. We stayed here 4 days in a nice and clean house. All perfect! I can recommend to visite Jinack and to enjoy your holiday surrounded by beautifull people and beautifull nature. Thanks to give us a great time Amadou, Bamba and Mohammed!
we felt really comfortable at the Jinack Lodge and that it is a wonderful spot. We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. There is a super beach, super water, great and nice people everywhere and a great guard dog (Lion) who always defended us (from whatever). :-) :-) The people in the Gambia and especially the staff of the Jinack Lodege were so, so nice and friendly. You get a "hello" everywhere The food, the 2 girls cooked for us every day was really excellent and especially the butter-fish I can recommend Thanks again to the cook. We felt really well looked after and absolutely welcome. We also liked the fact that Amadou (Lodge Manager) took part in our tours and was available to us as a competent travel guide and could also tell us something about the country and its people. We will come back at any time, for sure…
We loved Jinack Lodge. It was the perfect get-away holiday. No wifi, radio, TV. (There is a good 4G mobile signal if you want it). Just completely relaxing. The beach is unbelievable. 12 kilometres of perfect crescent shade sand and you are normally the only person on it. You see the odd motor bike going up and down. And the Land Rover trip along the beach was the highlight of our holiday. We had a wonderful donkey tour of the island including the villages and the local school. Food was good - lots of it. Plenty of nice and cold JulBrew beer. The staff are fantastic. Ams and Moses are superb. It is wonderful feeling welcomed by the local community. We had some lovely boat trips and a great trip to Fathala nature reserve.
