Getting a 1 star review from someone is obviously not good news, so I think it important for people reading this, to get the correct facts about what actually happened - the first we knew about this booking was an email from Booking.com received at 9.40pm on the arrival day. This was followed by a telephone message from the reviewer at 9.42pm during which which he told us that although he was aware that our latest arrival time was 10.00pm, he would be arriving "in two to three hours, and could we make additional arrangements (for him)" I have saved this message on my mobile, in case Booking.com want to know why we refused the booking, and want proof of what happened. I called the reviewer back at 9.45pm and told him that I was sorry but we were unable to welcome guests that late at night (midnight to 1am). As he didn't seem to understand, I confirmed that 10pm was our latest arrival time, which I could stretch to 11pm, but no later, and I was very surprised that he thought that arriving past midnight was a reasonable request. He didn't think that this was fair to him, and at this point, I asked him to cancel his booking, and find somewhere closer to where he was calling from, or somewhere that welcomed guests very late at night. Booking.com gave him a full refund. David and the Yurtcamp team.

We had So. Much. Fun. Yurtcamp is set in a woodland, in the grounds of an old miniature railway, so the kids were in the their element exploring the paths and tunnels and playing on the giant obstacle course, racing down the zip wire or enjoying the playground. Our best times

is it close to traim station for those that dont drive
Hi Jackie. Yes, Newton Abbot train station is about 4 miles away and is a very busy station with plenty of connections. There are also usually lots of taxis outside so no need for a car to stay here.
