For the second consecutive year we visited Gites Du Marigne. Fantastic hosts Jeany and Paul always make you very welcome. The Gite we stayed in Chez Hiboux was clean and tidy and fully equipped with what you need to make a great holiday. The swimming pool is gorgeous and again kept clean and tidy with various inflatables for the children should you want them. Local walks round the village and field and a lovely local square for shopping and drinks or food. Lots to do nearby which Jeany leaves in an information folder or just ask them for more details. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there and we are looking forward to another visit next year. Thank you Jeany and Paul

Such a beautiful relaxing place to stay. We had a fantastic fortnight at Gites du Marigne. The grounds were superb, the pool was sparkling and the Gite was perfect. Our hosts were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. We couldn't have wished for a better holiday. Thank you.

Our stay at the Gîtes du Marigné was an unforgettable pleasure. The calm serenity of the grounds made our stay feel private but also safe. Fresh eggs in the morning before a dip in the pool as well as fresh mint to add to your tea after dinner made for a relaxing and revitalising holiday. Our hosts were so kind and highly accommodating, we really couldn’t ask for a better stay. I hope to visit again soon!

Wow, what a little gem of a find. Had a wonderful weeks stay here in June. The peace & quiet was just what we needed. Absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean. The gardens & pool well maintained. Stayed in the stunning Le petite maison and cant wait to go back! Thank you so much Jeany and Paul.

We spent such an amazing few nights at Gites Du Marigne - Jeany and Paul were fabulous hosts and went out of their way to ensure we were happy. The pool area is stunning and kept immaculately clean - also, such comfy sunbeds. We only scratched the surface regarding the sights of the area - we are intending to book again for next year with friends. Wine tasting, cycling, canoeing are all on the bucket list. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and I can thoroughly recommend to couples and families alike. A wonderful place! See you again!

My wife and I visited here in September. We hired a car in Poitiers and drove the 45 minute journey to the Gites du Marigne with ease. We were welcomed by our hosts Jeanie and Paul and shown to ‘Le Petit Maison’. The grounds are exceptionally beautiful and kept in par with the local rural area. The accommodation we had was a one bedroom small house with en-suite facilities. The house is well equipped with kitchen equipment, a welcome pack of freshly laid eggs, pastries, butter, tea, coffee etc etc.. The swimming pool was a real treat on the hot days that we had lounging around, there’s also great local villages to visit within 30 minutes drive. We both slept very well and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be returning to explore more of the area very soon :)

We stayed in La Petite Maison. The property has been sympathetically and well renovated. The gite was was exceptionally clean with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Towels are provided for the house and pool. There was a generous welcome pack. The gites are in quiet Charente countryside. The ground are large, well maintained and with beautiful flowering plants. There is a very clean swimming pool.Numerous birds(house martins, owls, hawks etc) are present in the grounds. Be sure to check out the house martins display round the pool in the evening. Jeany and Paul are excellent, friendly hosts. Generous with their time and advise. I would highly recommend this property and our hosts.

We stayed in La Petite Maison for a week at the beginning of September. Our hosts Paul and Jeany could not have been more friendly and welcoming. There was a lovely welcome hamper with all the basics including wine! The cottage was beautifully furnished and had a private terrace with patio table, bbq and sun loungers. There is a pool for all three cottages which was warm and clean and set in lovely gardens. There is also a play area for children and the young at heart. We played pétanque (very badly). We had a peaceful week not doing too much but enjoyed days out in Poitiers and Angoulême and had some fabulous meals out. A perfect place for a chilled holiday.

Jeany and Paul- the hosts- are utterly wonderful; warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. They keep the entire property and land surrounding clean and beautiful- it is a joy to wake up after such a restful nights sleep, with a spotless pool awaiting your arrival! The quiet roads, adjacent to picturesque fields of sunflowers, surrounding the property would be ideal for cycling. We drove down to Charente and had a brilliant canoeing trip which was fun for all the family, though would have been equally entirely content staying in Guites du Marigne for the entirety of the trip. Our stay here was gorgeous, tranquil, restorative, and incredibly nourishing, I cannot wait to return!
