Having stayed in Keswick a few times, we tried Whitbarrow vlllage out last week and was happy with our stay. Our unit showed small areas that could do with a little TLC but was spotless and well appointed. The site is well laid out and maintained, but guess it might be a trifle busy during summer holidays. Leisure complex was...

Value for money, at a key location in the Lake District. There is also a gym and play area for the children. Prices in the bar were reasonable. The pool and sauna were a hit with the kids. Feeding the ducks that wonder around the property are a treat.

We love going to Whitbarrow. The accommodation is excellent, plenty of room, warm and inviting. The facilites are great, particulalry the pool and jaccuzi. The restaurant and bar are very good with a good menu and resonable prices. Entertainment has always been of high quality too. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Thoroughly enjoyed the midweek break at a resort that we have used before and would certainly return to again. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly in the restaurant and bar. Facilities in the room were excellent and very clean and warm.

An ideal complex of houses built around a hotel, indoor swimming pool and sauna. We stayed in a Kirkstone house which was really well equipped and maintained. Ideally located for the North Lakes, nestled between Penrith & Keswick. A supermarket is a car ride away.

Whittbarrow is very close to Keswick with beautiful views over the hills. It is close enough to all the towns and facilities of the Lake district, but far enough away to be a very peaceful location. You can relax away from people if you wish or you can visit the restaurant, bar and swimming pool if you want company. We...

Stayed for one night in a fell suite. Great room with good quality of finishings. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. Nice Bose DVD player/radio. Bed could have been bigger as I am over 6 foot but overall no complaints. Weather that evening was very cold and gale force wind blowing outside. Room felt slightly under heated but...

Went to work over the weekend. Was nice and quiet just what I needed. Ate in the bar and food reasonably priced as are the drinks. Some nice pubs locally and a Sainsbury's not too far away.
