Travellers' Choice
White House Farm and Annex offer superb bed and breakfast accommodation near Holt in North Norfolk. White House Farm is a stunning 17th century farm house with adjoining barn, which has been integrated into the old house. There is a double and single room in the house. The rooms are furnished with Edwardian antique furniture to match the high timbered ceilings. There is a bathroom attached with a bath, shower and W.C. which is also styled to compliment the age of the house. There is your own private entry to the rooms so you can come and go as you wish. Guests have the use of the conservatory sitting room and in the winter months can sit in the cosy sitting room with a wood burner which is part of the barn.

Well where do we start!!! Mary & Tim were fantastic hosts, couldn't do enough for us & made us feel so welcome. We was greeted with Coffee, Cake & loads of laughter. Our room was very spacious, comfortable & clean. The gardens & surroundings were beautiful. The breakfast fruit bowl was very fresh & the full English was plentiful & nice & hot. We would definitely recommend White House Farm & look forward to our next stay there. Mary & Tim, thank you once again Elaine & Tom P.S Sid the dog was lovely & very friendly too 🙂

We haven't visited Whitehouse Farm for a few years but the same high standard of accommodation and food greeted us. Mary Walsh gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful recommending restaurants and places to visit. We were in the annexe which has everything you might need for self catering but we chose the bed and breakfast option. We would not hesitate recommending Whitehouse Farm to everyone.

I just spent 2 nights at White House Farm with Mary and Tim. I have been here 3 - 4 times before and as always Mary was so caring, helpful and generous. I felt right at home. Her food is great, homemade marmalade and jams delicious. Her cakes are also good. I had the upstairs room, which was a good double with quite a bit of space and nice and cool in the heat. Their garden is a real treat. I will be back.

Just returned from a wonderful 4 day stay with Mary and Tim. I had booked with a friend on a birdwatching break. We were given 2 downstairs bedrooms in the main house with a shared bathroom between which was just perfect for us. The room was warm, clean and comfortable with TV, tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and a chocolate treat. We were greeted on arrival with tea and delicious homemade cake and the breakfasts were wonderful -eggs from the hens in the garden , homemade bread and locally sourced bacon. Mary kindly provided packed lunches to keep us fortified during the long birdwatching days and then also, at our request, cooked us delicious meals each evening ...her apple crumble and chocolate mousse were scrumptious! We were able to sit and stroll in the garden which is filled with flowers and vegetables and contains a beautiful wild flower meadow. We also had free run of the dining and sitting rooms and conservatory which were all very spacious and comfortable. Sid the dog became a firm friend. Both Mary and Tim were delightful, kind and very attentive hosts. They made our stay truly special. I would have no hesitation in returning and in fact I can't wait to visit again.

From the moment I arrived I was made to feel so welcome. Mary is absolutely the best host and nothing is too much trouble. I met Sid, Georgie and Sapphire all furry and cuddly so delightful. My whole experience was like being part of a lovely family. The food is delightful and freshly cooked - Mary is an excellent cook and uses quality products. No need to travel to find food. Tim helps when necessary and was so kind to help me move my car. Cant wait until my next stay.
