Coopers House is a charming Georgian house. Walk into Coopers and it is like walking into a family home, cosy and snug with lots of hidden corners. The house was once an old shop and blacksmith. It is an ideal place for a holiday with friends and family. Cooper’s is well positioned in the attractive and quiet village of Hindolveston. The house has 3 generous sized bedrooms and one slightly smaller bedroom, 2 of, which have a double bed, and the remaining 2 have twin beds. The twinned bedded rooms are en suite and there is a large family bathroom with a bath and shower. Want places to escape to in the house? Cooper’s has a sunroom /playroom large dining room that will easily seat 10 people, a sitting room with an open fire and 2 little snugs. There are open fires in the dining room and the sitting room with the Victorian fireplace.

We visited Coopers House last August with my son, his partner and our two Tibetan Terriers. On arrival we were greeted by Mary and had tea and cake in the lovely garden. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. We all enjoyed our stay and will return in the near future.

Another great stay at Cooper’s House. Two weeks this time with our children and grandchildren with a half time change-over of families. What a great base for a North Norfolk seaside and countryside holiday for all ages. This year we ranged from 3-year-old twins to 16-year-old teenagers their young at heart grandparents; their parents got to come too. Cooper’s is great for a family holiday with its large farmhouse table in its large kitchen where you can all eat together, the large dining room, formerly the village shop where in our case jigsaw puzzles and arts and crafts were the order of the day. A homely cottage lounge, two snug style rooms and a bright garden room with French doors ensure everyone can find a space to enjoy time together or a quiet place to read a book on their own. Off road parking is easy for 2-3 cars and by closing the gates to the drive and garden you have a safe secure play area for the younger children whilst the older youngsters go off a short distance down the road to the recreation grounds for ball games. This also has a great selection of children’s’ play equipment in an enclosed area. Cooper’s two en-suites and large family bathroom mean there’s never a queue for facilities and the outside toilet means that the children don’t need to go through the house from the garden whilst playing there. The heating room means that wetsuits and towels are dried overnight and ready for another day of in our case kayaking and swimming on the beach at Sheringham. Because Cooper’s is part of White House Farm Grandma and Grandad were able to move to Bed and Breakfast at the end of the family holiday to relax and recuperate enjoying Mary and Tim’s amazing hospitality starting each day with a leisurely farmhouse breakfast of local produce, White House chicken eggs and fresh homemade bread. You are welcomed in the afternoon with tea and Mary’s beautiful homemade cakes. We’re happy for you to make a booking to visit as we’ve already booked our next year’s family holiday along with other stays during the year.

We have recently had another stay Coopers House and we had a great time. The welcome was warm and the house was great. It's not our first stay with Mary and Tim and will not be the last. We cannot recommend Coopers House enough.

Coopers is an ideal base to visit the nearby Norfolk countryside, spacious upstairs and down. Down stairs as you enter a large kitchen dining room, walking through to two lounge rooms into another large room with multiple uses..... we used it to try and do a 1000 piece jigsaw( no chance in 3 days ). There is a playroom for the children and lounge room comfortable for the evenings. Upstairs 4 bedrooms 2 en-suite and a large family bathroom. In most cases breakfast is included which is well worth it, everything you would want! Already booked for next year.

I just loved this place, Mary was one of the nicest hosts I’ve met, she was naturally kind, chatty and lovely all round and couldn’t do enough for me. I arrived on a dark, miserable evening and she made me a nice sandwich so that I didn’t have to go out for food after my longish drive. The place is oozing with character, I’d a room in the main barn which has double height ceilings, huge comfy lounge and interesting things to look at everywhere, My room had a great comfy bed, there was wine, chocolate, beverages, and yummy cake on arrival. I felt at home there immediately, it was warm, comfortable and welcoming all round, if you love character places then you’ll thoroughly enjoy this. Breakfast was delicious too. Can’t fault it, 5 big starts from me, I will be back,

We’ve just enjoyed another wonderful week at Cooper’s House. The house is brilliant for our family of 7 with lots of space for us all and the garden lovely to play in and relax too. Situated in a quiet village it is ideal for exploring the surrounding area & seasides nearby. Mary & Tim are very welcoming & Mary’s tiffin went down very well with the grandchildren! A bunch of sweet pea’s picked from their garden & brought round to us was so thoughtful too. We hope to be back again next year

What a wonderful place to visit for rest & relaxation. We’ve just spent another lovely week in the company of Mary & Tim at Whithouse Farm & Coopers House. The welcome is always warm and the hospitality is generous. Hindolveston is a great base to be for north Norfolk. Everywhere is within a reasonable journey. From pub night on a Friday to coffee morning on Monday’s in the village hall the village has great character. A regular to the village and Whitehouse farm we will continue to spend our holidays here. Thank you Mary & Tim. Look forward to seeing you next time. Neil & Sally
