The hotel is located in the city centre of Xalapa. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are spotless clean but modest. Being in there gives you the opportunity to have a true experience and feel secure and well taken care of. In particular, home made breakfast with fruit, juice and coffee is lovely every day. The house is in...

The place is nice, rooms are good enough, the patio is lovely. The first day everything went well, but the second day wasn't. My sister got robbed in her room, and the staff was not in the least concerned, the manager never showed up and no one took any type of responsibility or action. When we arrived at the hotel...

This is my fourth time staying at Posada Del Cafeto. It is such a clean, nice, quaint and very peaceful hotel. The service is outstanding. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Maricruz was incredible. She answered all of our questions, assisted us with every request and always with a smile. Best breakfast ever! Will be returning next year.

I stayed 2 weeks at the Posada while my friend's spare bed was already filled. The room was a delightful spare chamber, scrupulously clean, the bed hard but fine, lots of hot water for showers. A wonderful courtyard and daily fresh packets of good local coffee to brew- a real boon to someone who wants to take coffee and read...

For it's location, Posada Del Cafeto (PDC) is very quiet and very reasonable. Walkable to downtown and to several of the nice parks, with many cafes nearby. The room we stayed in faced the back wall of green plants. Our 2nd story room meant we could keep the windows open and no one could walk by! The room was very...

I have stayed here several times over the course of 14 years. Its standards have kept up - WiFi in rooms and common areas, clean and well maintained, quiet and on a quiet street near the center. Good bed, bathroom with hot water in sink (as well as shower). Staff were helpful when I looked for a club to listen...

Freezing cold rooms. 1 poor quality pillow. Uncomfortable beds. Staff ok. Not very helpful. Had to ask several times for a heater which didn't give enough heat for the size of the room so had to sleep fully clothed in coats.

My third annual visit with a group of 12 for three nights in the Cafeto. Rooms are comfortable, clean, simple and attractive with good showers and beds. Breakfast room is a wonderful space and food to start the day. The young staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant, efficiently tending to our every need with a smile. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere...
