This 12th century farm has been lovingly converted into 10 charming cottages, with Indoor swimming pool, full size tennis court, The Orchard Playground, Games Lodge and 4 fishing lakes. Compton Pool is truly rural yet very easily accessible to many beaches, Dartmoor National Park and an array of tourist attractions, restaurants and shops for all the family.

We've been here seven times now, most recently just a family holiday. Previously, we've had large family gatherings here, renting the main farmhouse and several other cottages. Debbie and her team have always been really helpful. The cottages are lovely, warm and well-equipped. The well-equipped games room and warm indoor heated swimming pool are real hits with all the children, grown-up and small alike. Allowing dogs is a real boon for us as they're part of our family; the dog packs Debbie provides are really well thought out. We love this place!

Lovely stay in Kester cottage. The kids loved the pool and games room and we all loved feeding the animals. Very friendly and helpful staff and great communication from the owners who were away while we were there. Hope to come back again soon!

Great place for a short family break. Drove to the Riverford field kitchen for a lunch (recommended). Compton Pool was welcoming and well organised without being officious. I particularly appreciated that the pool was warm and open for most of the day. The kids all loved it. Thanks.

Wonderful third visit to Compton Pool. So relaxing and peaceful, just what we needed! Each time we used the swimming pool it felt like our own private pool as no one else in it. Owners and team so friendly, made us feel really welcome and at home!

A holiday with my son's family. The attention to detail in providing for all the family was outstanding. We had a 3year old and a young baby in our party. There was something to entertain all of us from swimming, fishing feeding the animals or playing in the park even a play room for wet weather days and a gym. Convenient to get to all local attractions too. Would highly recommend this for a holiday.

Four adults, two children and a dog stayed in Torr cottage in August 2023. Everything was catered for even the dog had a bowl, bed and towels supplied. It was immaculately clean and very welcoming. The children loved the freedom to play as the area was very secure with lots of play equipment and animals to pet. The biggest hit was the swimming pool and was used twice a day. The surrounding area is perfect for exploring with beaches 15 minutes away and a must to do is the steam train and ferry to Dartmouth. Thank you Debbie and Paul, we had a wonderful time.

Amazing place for a family holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed a two-week stay in Crazywell Cottage and loved the facilities - the lovely swimming pool, games room, tennis courts and play area kept us and our three children busy and happy whatever the weather. Debbie and Paul are so welcoming and friendly and the cottage itself was spotless and cosy - we loved it. The area is beautiful, too - there is so much to do. Highlights for us were the Dartmouth steam railway, Babbacombe Model Village, Paignton Zoo, Broadsands beach and Woodlands Leisure Park. We highly recommend.

Fantastic family holiday with older children. We booked Crazy Well cottage looking for UK summer break which offered plenty of facilities and close to local attractions. This didn't disappoint. The cottage was presented to a high standard, peacefully away from the other cottages and generously equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Clean to even our high standards, despite it being dog friendly there was no sign or smell of any previously residing dogs. The staff onsite were very friendly and happy to stop and chat, offering suggestions of places to visit. The site was immaculate, great pride is clearly taken in maintaining the grounds. We didn't have any issues getting to use the pool or tennis court despite there being 10 cottages. Thank you for a lovely stay, we hope to come again.…

Had a fantastic stay here at the start of the summer holidays. Great for children and our dog. The pool is a fantastic facility. Lots to do on the doorstep, but also a great location to just enjoy the immediate surroundings. Would definitely come back in the future.

Compton Pool Farm is incredible and I cannot recommended highly enough! This was our first visit. We have 2 children, ages 7 and 4, and the set up at Compton Pool couldn’t be more perfect with the play area, farm animals and swimming pool. Everywhere is kept immaculate and Debbie and Mark were just the loveliest hosts! We are planning our next trip back to Compton Pool with all our family!
