We booked Rosemary Cottage having seen the reviews and just loved it. We stayed only one night but will be back again. The room was clean, very well appointed and perfectly situated for meeting up with friends. The owners were very friendly and super helpful....More
My husband and I visited last week with two friends. We occupied three rooms, all of which were large and cool and very comfortable. Unfortunately the owners were away but we were well looked after anyway. Breakfast in the Pedallers cafe was very tasty. Not...More
We stayed here when we travelled to look at properties- was actually early 2017 - very relaxing and comfortable and David & Emma were very hospitable and kind. We liked it so much we’ve now moved to the same village🤗
This B & B would be hard to beat. The rooms are spacious with a lovely big comfortable bed. David and Emma are superb host's and the cooked breakfast in the Pedallers Café is delicious. The produce is all locally sourced and is really well...More
A lovely friendly welcome and a brilliant room. Great value for money - only niggle was a soggy tramp across the garden for breakfast in the adjoining cafe and for a future stay we’d bring corn flakes to eat in the main house if the...More
Hi there, I cannot confirm one way or the other but what I will say is that the owners are passionate dog lovers and own pointers so my guess is yes. If my memory serves me well I think I remember seeing a dog in the teashop... More

Hi. I've stayed at the marvellous Rosemary Cottage a few times. Last time I was there (March this year) there was no kitchen for guests to use, but they do provide a fridge for you to keep a few cold goods in. Their Peddlars Cafe (at end of their garden) is marvellous and provides excellent breakfasts and lunches as does The Pointer Inn up the road (very steep hill up to it, just so you're aware if you have mobility problems). The cafe is dog friendly, again, just in case you do not like dogs.
Nearby is the Garlic Farm, which is well worth a visit. If you cycle, the cottage it's on a great flat off road cycle route that either takes you to Sandown for the beach or Newport or Cowes for shopping.
In the summer, the fabulous Downs Breezer open-topped bus stops right outside the cottage taking you around lots of tourist attractions on the island, I believe including the steam railway, Quarr Abbey, Arreton Barns and many others. See Southern Vectis for details
Hope some of this helps! We really enjoy staying at Rosemary Cottage. The rooms are spacious and contemporary and always spotless. Dave and Emma run a great business at a fantastic price.
