An award winning purpose built Bed and Breakfast in a semi rural location. Only a 10 minute drive to Sandown bay and most major attractions. We are surrounded by many footpaths and cycle ways with wildlife in abundance. Evening meals can be taken at the Pointer Inn just 5 minutes from us. Open all year.

We stayed here overnight due to a family matter after traveling from Southampton. Lovely room, plenty of space, very comfortable bed. The owner was very helpful and chatty. We would certainly come back when we return to the Isle of Wight!

First time stop for myself and friend although we live on the Island!!!! Reviewing cafe next door although Rosemary Cottage B & B looks lovely. So Cafe what a lovely place. Very secluded and peaceful location. Great for walkers or cyclists and dog friendly. Food was lovely.

Interesting location in rural area. Room nicely appointed and comfortable bed. Drainage poor so you shower in a pool of water and tv from 1950s only shows BBC1 and 2 - all other channels pixelate (price to pay for rural setting). Breakfast not available until 10am, so unsuitable

Can my dog stay in the room with me
Hi there, I cannot confirm one way or the other but what I will say is that the owners are passionate dog lovers and own pointers so my guess is yes. If my memory serves me well I think I remember seeing a dog in the teashop too. A quick call will confirm.

Hi. I've stayed at the marvellous Rosemary Cottage a few times. Last time I was there (March this year) there was no kitchen for guests to use, but they do provide a fridge for you to keep a few cold goods in. Their Peddlars Cafe (at end of their garden) is marvellous and provides excellent breakfasts and lunches as does The Pointer Inn up the road (very steep hill up to it, just so you're aware if you have mobility problems). The cafe is dog friendly, again, just in case you do not like dogs. Nearby is the Garlic Farm, which is well worth a visit. If you cycle, the cottage it's on a great flat off road cycle route that either takes you to Sandown for the beach or Newport or Cowes for shopping. In the summer, the fabulous Downs Breezer open-topped bus stops right outside the cottage taking you around lots of tourist attractions on the island, I believe including the steam railway, Quarr Abbey, Arreton Barns and many others. See Southern Vectis for details Hope some of this helps! We really enjoy staying at Rosemary Cottage. The rooms are spacious and contemporary and always spotless. Dave and Emma run a great business at a fantastic price.
