Wow what a place! A group of 15 of us booked out all of the Yurts so that we would have the communal area to ourselves which was a huge selling point. The Yurts themselves are incredible and you can tell no expense was spared when kitting out the place. We loved the little touches from hot water bottles on beds to free samples from the farm shop.. it was all these bits that made it stand out In the communal area there was a hugeee BBQ perfect for us all and a table which fit 15 perfectly, enough logs to keep us going for the weekend and fridges galore for the volume of prosecco we brought. The team were amazing, loved the ease of self check in and we even had silent disco equipment delivered before we arrived which they had set out for our arrival. We also went to breakfast on the last day at their restaurant and it was amazing, made even better by the discount we received to due staying on site. I honestly couldn't recommend this place more, driving in the whole field and set up blows your mind... social media pics and their website does not do it justice! We had the best hen weekend and I truly believe the biggest highlight was the accomodation, there's no doubt in my mind we'll be back!

Property's Favourite Review
We took three cottages for a big family week away. The cottages were all well equipped, comfortable and clean. Lovely to have really large soft towels and everything so well thought out. It was ideal for all ages with plenty to do on site and great location for getting out and about. The gardens and grounds are well kept and beautifully laid out. The owners and staff were all very helpful and quick to respond to queries. For those of us with dogs it was good we could bring them with us. We ate in the restaurant several times and booked the private space for a big family celebration meal. The food is fabulous and as there were several vegans and vegetarians amongst us it was wonderful to have so many delicious choices. Thank you for a lovely holiday - we’ll be back!

We hired the Yurts here for our Ruby wedding celebration,a great mix of ages so to keep everyone happy could have been difficult, but this place is simply fantastic, every yurt has everything you need, whatever the weather although August the wind and rain didn’t detract from a wonderful experience, and the facilities are great,if possible my advice would be get a family group together and hire all 5 yurts as we did, then the whole site is yours,Hugo and Mel who own and run the accommodation go over and above to ensure your stay is fantastic, simply magical place

We stayed two nights in Farmhouse Cottage in March. The weather wasn't kind to us but all the paths are paved so no worries about lots of mud! The cottage was lovely and well appointed. On the website it said 'This property has no kitchen or dining facilities. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a mini fridge in the sitting room' but when we arrived there was indeed a full kitchen as well with fridge, microwave, cooker etc so we were a little confused! The rooms are all large, with one of the biggest bathrooms I've seen! We had visits in the garden from the peacocks and red squirrels. We ate twice in the restaurant, lunch and breakfast- both delicious but a little pricey We also walked around the farm, there's a walk map available. Plenty of parking, easy to find and the owners were all very pleasant. We had a welcome gift of a jar of pickle and a bulb of garlic! The shop is amazing, we've shopped online from here but great to go and restock. The only small gripe was being woken on the first morning a little before 7am by a large articulated lorry parked directly outside the cottage with it's engine running for half an hour, but I guess it is a working farm. All in all I would heartily reccommend.

My husband and I and our two daughters who are 9 and 5 years absolutely loved Yurt Bonnie and The Garlic Farm itself. The yurt was so luxurious and cosy and very well equipped. Having the bathroom and kitchen meant it was camping at all, but it felt like a real adventure for our girls! They loved sleeping up in their ‘dens’ on the mezzanine level. There was loads to do nearby (we especially loved Robin Hill country park) and the Garlic Farm restaurant was absolutely delicious for all 3 meals we ate there. The shop is amazing too, we bought lots of goodies! Already talking with friends about going back and taking all 5 yurts!

We visited the garlic farm and was overwhelmed by the amount of different types of garlic there is. Well educational. A meal at the restaurant is a must. This place is really missing opportunities thou and I hope they expand in the future. It really needs to open for dinner in the evenings and maybe partner up with a local vineyard. It’s a real Shane as the food is amazing but there is so much scope for more. Highly recommend this place for a visit and for lunch. You must try their garlic ice cream !

We had a great time staying in the yurt on garlic farm. Having never camped before I thought this would allow me to experience ‘outdoor’ accommodation with all the home comforts. The yurts are kitted out with everything you could need and although cold in the evenings the bed and log fire made it very cosy. We were there with our two year old who enjoyed the walks, playground and animals especially the peacocks and chickens. Also breakfast in the garlic farm restaurant was delicious. We will definitely be returning

We love garlic and thought that a week’s stay on the picture perfect garlic farm whilst attending the Garlic Festival for the first time would be ideal. We stayed in Paddock Cottage which, whilst some of the furniture could do with updating, was comfortable and ideal for our needs. Customer service was great and when we pointed out that the central post under the bed had collapsed, it was quickly mended. The enclosed garden was a particular delight with clematis growing over the fence and with its own bistro table and chairs, sun loungers, parasol, barbeque and rotary dryer. A gate led out to the large communal grass area allowing us to soak up the last of the evening sun. The white and blue peacocks were regularly seen walking through the grounds. We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful week, perfect for recharging the batteries even if the weather did leave something to be desired!

We have just returned from a stay at the Garlic Farm and it was really lovely! We have two young children (5 and 2) and they absolutely loved the play area and seeing the animals (horses, peacocks, guinea pigs, Highland cows). The accommodation was lovely and the living space was great. The Garlic Farm is fantastic with a great restaurant onsite serving delicious food. I wouldn't hesitate to go back!
