We stayed for a week at the Garlic Farm with another family, our group was 4 adults and 4 kids, we stayed in 2 Yurts. The kids loved the yurts and all the facilities, tennis court & games room with table tennis, pool table, Foosball table. The farm is family run and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

We love garlic and thought that a week’s stay on the picture perfect garlic farm whilst attending the Garlic Festival for the first time would be ideal. We stayed in Paddock Cottage which, whilst some of the furniture could do with updating, was comfortable and ideal for our needs. Customer service was great and when we pointed out that the central post under the bed had collapsed, it was quickly mended. The enclosed garden was a particular delight with clematis growing over the fence and with its own bistro table and chairs, sun loungers, parasol, barbeque and rotary dryer. A gate led out to the large communal grass area allowing us to soak up the last of the evening sun. The white and blue peacocks were regularly seen walking through the grounds. We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful week, perfect for recharging the batteries even if the weather did leave something to be desired!

We have just returned from a stay at the Garlic Farm and it was really lovely! We have two young children (5 and 2) and they absolutely loved the play area and seeing the animals (horses, peacocks, guinea pigs, Highland cows). The accommodation was lovely and the living space was great. The Garlic Farm is fantastic with a great restaurant onsite serving delicious food. I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

We have just returned from a fortnights stay in Kiln Cottage on the Garlic Farm. It’s was just wonderful , the Cottage was clean and spacious. The Farm is very well placed for visiting the Islands many attractions. We had breakfast and lunch at the restaurant and both were delicious . Everybody was very welcoming. We will definitely be returning!

We had a long weekend with our family, age range 2 - 70years, all staying in yurts. The setting is an attractive field with plenty of open space around each of the 5 yurts. Each yurt is furnished and equiped to a very high standard which we could not fault. Comfortable double bed, cosy woodburning stove, hot water in shower and kitchen, w.c., fridge and cooker, armchairs and cosy cushions, ladder to mezanine sleeping area with mattresses and bedding if more than 2 guests are staying. Outside are wooden seats, a BBQ and a flame pit, with ample supplies of free logs. There is also a superb communal area if you are booking all 5 yurts for a group. This has a large flame pit, kitchen with sink and fridge, tables and chairs, a bar area and even a music system! Everything has been thought of. Next to the yurt field is an excellent tennis court and a grass five-a-side football pitch and a well equipped games room. The staff at every level are friendly and welcoming, indeed everyone at all the facilties could not have been nicer of more helpful. These facilties include a very well stocked garlic farm shop with every food or condiment that can possibly be linked to garlic - even black garlic ice cream! There is a tasting suite where you can taste the many different garlic products. The cafe is very cosy and friendly, the restaurant equally so. There was a great gypsy-jazz pizza night while we were there with a very good jazz band playing under a tree beside the restaurant's outdoor canopy. You can walk or jog for miles around the farm in perfect safety and a half-mile walk will take you to a very well stocked fishing lake. All in all a five-star holiday full of happy memories.
