Our cabin was adorable, not spacious but space well used. We had the best meal of our trip here, pan seared trout that melted in your mouth. Wow! Unfortunately the trail was closed but this was definitely a fantastic stop on our way to Jasper. I like being out of Banff, it was quiet and relaxing. Bring a deck of...

Really enjoy staying here - simple, clean, and cozy accommodations, nestled in the mountains. Wonderful customer service - easy check in and out and friendly staff in the office and in the restaurant. Great breakfast too! Such a relaxing break from all the "chatter" of life. Close to Banff and Lake Louise and so many amazing hikes - after you...

My husband I were taking a vacation to Canada. We stayed at Johnston Canyon one night. The cabin was cozy and private. Bed was comfy. (As other posters have said), bathrooms was small. Our cabin had a gas fireplace which was wonderful in the chilly evening. Cabin was not modern or fancy, but ample in size and ammenities. Felt like...

I tried to contact the resort to complain they they have not responded. Here is the email I stayed in your cabins on July 3rd and 4th 2016. My sister and her kids were visiting from Ireland and I wanted to give them the wonderful experience of staying in a cabin in the mountains. I have stayed in a few...

As we drove in we were not sure as there were buses everywhere and hoards of people walking to Falls. The Receptionist was very personable and we were able to check in little early. The cabin was nicely nestled in trees and very quiet. The cabin is well appointed . Bathroom - tiny. Cabins don't really know what they want...

Arrived nervously after what had happened five years ago but...All was fine as they had our booking. However when we drove to the 'Pilot cabin' we were disappointed to find it surrounded by other cabins and a room with NO view. The cabin itself was as described and a lovely spacious layout. However...the quilt was covered in dog hair, the...

We enjoyed staying in the cabin, and it was an experience in of itself, but did not think that it was worth the price. It was convenient being near the canyon. We had to wait around for a while before the reception arrived, and had to ask for a few supplies that were supposed to be in the room. The...

Excellent location for visiting the area between Lake Louise and Banff. A good hike on the doorstep. Go to the inkpots to beat the crowds. We had a cabin set back from the parking lot so never disturbed by the popularity of the place. They are all gone by 6 anyway

This place is lovely and a complete throw-back - thank goodness! After the craziness that is now Banff and Lake Louise, how great to have a place that actually has trees and quiet and no international shops! I finally exhaled when I arrived at my cabin here. Had nothing but friendly and professional interactions with the front desk and my...

If you are looking for 5 star accommodation this is not the place for you. If however, you are looking for a peaceful place to stay with a bit of history these cabins are good. There is no wi-fi or TV reception. The cabins remain true to the 1920s origin of the resort and we found our cabin (14a) warm...
