The lodging in Banff is abysmal at best. Only two major chains, Delta and Fairmont. Both of which cost an arm an ankle. True, most people are in Banff to enjoy the outdoors, sometimes you need a nice place to stay for a business function. The Brewster Mountain Lodge is a great place to stay, for work or leisure. I...

This place is good being right in the centre of town, the beds were acceptable, and the atmosphere was cozy. Breakfast was nothing special, but good to have something included with the cost of the stay. The room we had was on the quiet side of the hotel, which was great as we had or kids with us, the rooms...

Stayed for four nights with my ski buddy in room 101 which was large enough for two floordrobes - great, as there's little space to hang your snow kit to dry. Room was very quiet, tucked away on a split level and was very clean and tidied daily. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast as described; cereals, breads, bagels, pastries,...

I've stayed at many hotels and resorts through Banff within the last year and I'd have to say Brewster's has been my least favourite. I'm normally not too picky, as I'm more or less looking for a place to sleep when on a ski/hiking trip, but Brewster's didn't hit the mark for even that. Cons: We were placed in a...

Visited Banff for a ski trip and chose to stay here as it is in a great location, right in the center of town. Good restaurants near by for dining. The hotel had an underground parking garage which is a huge plus. The decor is slightly dated but the staff is very friendly. The continental breakfast is a plus as...

We visited with a family of seven (adults). The rooms are spacious and clean, comfy beds. No fridges, which would have been helpful, but I believe more expensive rooms have them. Our rooms were a good price and perfectly fine though. The breakfasts were good, plenty of food - basic - but we were happy with that. We used the...

The location of this hotel was great. A short walk to the ski busses and central to shops and restaurants. Our room was a good size with a jacuzzi bath, which was so lovey at the end of the day. It also had a separate shower. The continental breakfast was fine for us. The trek to the breakfast nook was...

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, an easy walk to the restaurants, sights and shopping of Banff. The room was quiet, the continental breakfast simple but adequate. Parking was convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the details of the decor. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I arrived recently for a quick 1 night stay. My room was a suite I believe as it had a large jacuzzi tub and stand up shower with 2 queen beds. Very nice! Furniture was a pine which made it rustic. The free breakfast and wifi was included also nice. The best of all was it's location. The Saltlik a...
