We brought our dog, some cards and some wine and truly enjoyed our time at the lodge! The wood burning fires are such a treat and the cabins are beautifully decorated with a rustic feel (yet clean and well maintained). Cael also saved the day for us when we were locked out of

Awesome cabins. Awesome food! Awesome staff. Wifey and I will be returning ASAP! They accommodated food allergies and welcomed our dog. The food was some of the greatest. We were lucky enough to enjoy the Christmas dinner the chef prepared.

My partner and I booked Storm Mountain Lodge because we wanted a place to get away to that had a cozy atmosphere with a fire that we could warm up next to for our 10 year anniversary. We also wanted to bring our 4 month old puppy with us and so it was a plus that it was pet

I wouldn’t say “easy”. It’s about 5 miles off the main highway. Might be best to call them and ask their opinion.

How early can a cup of coffee be had?
7 am, I think! When we went it was Kicking Horse coffee, so it was delicious!

Are there any cooking facilities in any of the cabins ? Even a kettle?
They also served free coffee from the shop every morning until 11am

Breakfast isn't included or at least wasn't for me, perhaps depends on the booking. The whole place is secluded as it's the only place there, no other hotels, shops etc. The cabins are nicely spaced apart but not miles away from each other. I never heard anything from the cabins or from the nearby highway.

Any shuttle from Calgary airport to your place
No. The lodge is located in somewhat isolated location (on a highway but away from any urban center). While there are various public transportation possibilities from Calgary to Banff, Lake Louise, etc. there would be nothing available to this facility. A rental vehicle would be the recommended means of travel. (The added bonus of a rental would be the opportunity to tour and view more of this exceptionally attractive area!). Note that if travel is planned for winter months highly recommend the rental of a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Cheers!
