We stayed here 10 years ago and decided to return for our anniversary this year. We stayed in a Deluxe One Bedroom Chalet for 2 nights like we did last time. The wood burning fireplace is always well stocked, and the Chalet is very cozy and comfortable. Things to note, the train tracks are very close, on average 4 freight...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay at Castle Mountain Chalets. I am pleased that you decided to return to our little resort to celebrate your milestone anniversary. We do not advertise that we have wi-fi due to our location and the limited service we are able to provide. There are no high...

I loved this place! My 1br was such a wonderful place to slow down after too much work stress. Beautiful surroundings. I wasn't able to enjoy the hot tub because it rained both evenings I was there (too bad since I was sore from hiking!), but otherwise I really enjoyed my stay. I am a light sleeper and was a...

I was so pleasantly surprised by Castle Mountain Chalets! They cabins look adorable. We were booked into a "suite", which I didn't realize. At first, I was disappointed, but once I looked around the suite - it was perfect! If traveling with kids, having a kitchen is awesome. The gas woodstove makes it so cozy and warm. The wifi is...

The Chalets were quaint and very well kept. The decoration was with the period and time and they were very clean. The lodge area provided an excellent breakfast in the morning - before our hiking began, and a wonder dinner in the evening when we returned.

We are 2 couples on our 2nd annual hiking trip. We are in our cabins in the am to shower, dress, eat breakfast, and make our lunches. We return after a day of hiking and eating dinner out. Our cabin (#19) was clean with a comfortable king bed. Our friends were in #18. There was plenty of room for all...

Wow...We booked the one bedroom chalet for the September Long Weekend, and were blown away. Wow....it was so very beautiful and large. It had everything we were looking for. A nice sitting area with fire place. Large kitchen area fully stocked and a huge bathroom, complete with jacuzzi tub and shower. All within driving distance to Lake Louise and Banff....

This is my second stay at the Castle Mountain Chalets in 2 years. Last year when I stayed there, I was in a deluxe one bedroom cabin. This year, since there were no deluxe one bedroom’s available, I stayed in the Pine Chalet. Even though it was smaller than then one bedroom, it had enough space for me. The bathroom...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your recent stay. It's nice to hear that you enjoyed the smaller cabin after having stayed in the deluxe on a previous visit. They are a little more rustic, but definitely lend that "Rocky Mountain" charm. Due to our location, getting a good internet signal can be challenging but...

We used Castle Mountain Chalets as a rendezvous point for meeting travelers. While waiting for our friends to pick us up, we chatted with Melissa about local info for hikers, wildlife sightings and admired how well their store is stocked with just about anything you might imagine you can need, even though it is a fairly remote location. Melissa is...

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. My apologies that our resort did not meet your expectations. You are correct, the two-bedroom cabins are older and more rustic than the one bedroom deluxe cabins, which have been recently updated/upgraded. The two-bedroom cabin is 680 square feet, much larger than the average hotel room and...
