A very nice older home in a quiet location. The hostess was very pleasant and the breakfasts great. Top floor room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was welcome as it was very warm during our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

This was our second time staying with the Carrs. The last time was two years ago and when we needed to find a place to stay this April we didn't hesitate to contact Ruth to arrange for a stay. Our room this time was the upstairs floor of the house. It was delightful. Our bed was extremely comfortable. I think...

We stayed for two nights at this delightful house built in 1913. Ruth and Paul were excellent hosts. Our room was large and tastefully decorated with an adjoining large bathroom sole for our use. Lots of very nice touches at the B&B including bathrobes and many of the breakfast items were local, and some made by Ruth. We would definitely...

My graduate student and I stayed here during a project meeting in Edmonton and found it to be delightful. The rooms are spacious and clean, the WiFi free and strong. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Ruth does a french press (2 cup at least) coffee for breakfast which is wonderful. One morning she heard me up early...

Enjoyed my stay at Streetside Garden B&B. My room on second floor had 2 single beds, very comfortable mattress, firm and soft pillows provided, warm duvet, very cozy room with all amenities. Breakfast choices beautifully served. Knowledgeable about glutenfree diet (I had advised in advance). Ruth runs a very efficient and friendly bed & breakfast business.

Ruth Carr established her B&B 15 years ago and has many customers who come back repeatedly to do business in Edmonton or attend a trade show or other event at Northlands, which is nearby. I can see why. She has a homey and well decorated place, and gives careful attention to the breakfasts she serves. She is available to help...

I stayed about a week at Carr’s Streetside Bed and Breakfast with a colleague in the two rooms on the first floor. We honestly would have left after the first day if we hadn’t been asked to pay upfront . The owner kept going into the rooms, touching and moving our belongings around. It was really creepy. I asked the...

My wife and I spent a very enjoyable week at this B&B at the beginning of Sept. 2009. The B&B is located in a largeish 3-storey house with a big garden in the Highlands area of NE Edmonton, a quiet, elm-lined neighbourhood just north of the river that dates back to 1912. We stayed in the Skyside suite, which takes...

Streetside Garden Bed and Breakfast puts hotels at the rear of the bus. This place is a five star plus. We've had several memorable stays there and find Ruth and Paul to be delightful hosts. They should be as Ruth is past president of the Alberta Bed and Breakfast Association. The rooms are well appointed with superb amenities. The house...
