We have stayed in a lot of hotels with our family of 4 and this is one of the most comfortable rooms we've ever had. The kitchenette and separate bedroom was a perfect amount of space for us (without paying $$ the money to stay in an actual cabin). The bathroom and kitchen areas are renovated and it was unusually quiet if you consider there is a train constantly moving across the road.
If I could change one thing it's that I wish we could've had a real coffee maker instead of the Keurig that was there.
Contrary to some of the reviews, I found the bed and pillows - at least the ones we had in our room - to be remarkably comfortable. It seemed to me that these may have been part of the updates that have been done.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights, whilst traveling the rockies.

I have to admit, I didnt expect the rooms to be as high quality as they were, judging purely by the outside look of the property. Dont get me wrong there is nothing physically wrong with the outside, but when you think of a lodge it doesnt necessarily scream high quality.

The room had 2 huge beds, very comfortable, quiet and the bathroom must have been recently renovated with a huge walk in shower which was a lovely surprise.

I feel bathrooms really represent the property. The amenities in the bathroom were of great quality, and towels were very fluffy and soft - not the cheap kind.

there is a pool which is currently open however i am not sure whats it like, as we didnt end up using it. I am fairly sure most of the rooms have balconies, ours did. One thing i'd say is that the room was a little dark - however there was a huge pine tree outside our balcony which might have been the cause.

Microwave and fridge are a nice touch to store some snacks and quick bites.

Lastly, its a shame there is no bar or restaurant onsite. There is one, but its currently closed, dont know if thats permanent or seasonal which makes the property lack a little as a result.

Hair dryer, could also do with replacing.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Marmot Lodge in Jasper. The staff members were pleasant and friendly and check-in was quick and easy. The room was nicely laid out with a common area; where there was a bar fridge, microwave oven, and coffee maker plus a very comfortable king-sized bed in a separate bedroom. Our room was quiet, which we appreciated. The shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were pleasant too.
We would recommend the Marmot Lodge to others.

We stayed one night in a King bed room and were glad to be leaving the next day - this is definitely a poorly managed property in the Pursuit hotel group (have stayed at 2 others which were much better). The photos online make the rooms look much better than they are - the room is dank and old. To start, we were given the key for a different room on checkin. The air conditioner was crazy loud. Most disappointing however was that housekeeping clearly hadn't paid attention when cleaning the room from the previous guests as there was half used toiletries in the bathroom. When we told reception about it they showed no concern and just gave some new toiletries. How could we have confidence in the cleanliness of the room if something as basic as replacing obviously used toiletries wasn't even done? There were only 2 lumpy pillows on a king bed too. I understand removing the extra cushions due to Covid but at least leave 4 pillows like every other hotel is doing (and if only leaving 2, make them decent ones not old lumpy ones). This hotel could take some lessons from the other properties in their group for sure. At $250/night, this was ridiculously over-priced, even without the issues we had. Suggest finding a better value alternative in Jasper.

We stayed here for two nights while we were in Jasper. It's pretty affordable especially if you're an Alberta resident, look into Pursuit Rewards for an Alberta resident discount like we did.

We got a double room and a decent amount of space for just two of us. The bathroom had a good-sized tub as well as a sink and counter outside of the bathroom which I always like for extra space. There was also a Keurig and electric kettle provided. We were a little confused at first and thought we had no fridge but then realized it's in the cabinet under the TV.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The blackout blinds worked amazing since it never really gets fully night in Alberta during the summer. There were lots of towels provided including extra towels when we booked the hot tub and pool. The only things that bothered us were we had to use a key instead of swipe cards and the locks are quite old and hard to open and the air conditioning seemed loud.

The hot tub and pool had just opened the day we got there and was available through 30-minute bookings only. We rented both. The pool was really nice and had a hot tub in it as well as a sauna. We also booked the outdoor hot tub which is in a separate enclosed space that has a door open to outside but it does have a roof. It was a really nice experience but only about half of the jets worked, mostly in one corner. There are also nice blue lawn chairs where you can sit out and watch the mountains.

It's a great location, just a quick walk to the downtown area. The restaurant was closed due to being under construction which was fine. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Great place to stay especially if you are looking for budget friendly place.
Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and bake, all of the utensils and glasses were washed and shiny.
Entire unit was very clean, there's no stayover now due to covid but hskp team does a great job.
FD team is very friendly and ready to help you.
Pool is open but you have to schedule the usage, not a big deal.
What else would we need? Maybe a better weather.

I will start by saying I am sad to give this hotel a single star review. I have stayed here multiple times and had a great stay in there large family style suites, however this time we stayed in a deluxe pet suite. This was a first floor room. We had the basic room, two queens mini fridge. Upon check in we were given room 127. When we arrived to unload our belongings, the front door had stains of liquids and looked like it had never been wiped. Then when we got in I walked the room, the leatherette chairs had chunks of fabric missing on the front of the seat, gouges in the walls, scuff Mark's (like mud boot prints on the cabinet edges) and the door frames of the bathroom. Were so banged up it was horrible. Do I went to complain, got another room and this room was not much better. We were honestly to tired to rebook anything else so we stayed.
This new room was two rooms away, and the one bed had a collapsed corner so when you played on it it was as if you were going to roll off, the grout in the newly remodeled showers was extremely dirty. If you are remodeling bathrooms, maybe do not put white grout on white tile unless you know how to keep the grout clean.
This hotel needs way better quality control, and some serious care given to the first floor pet rooms. Guest with pets, still pay the same price plus an extra fee, and there was no care given to these rooms whatsoever. I know some hotels provide pet bowls, beds, treats and disposable bags, nothing like that was given during our stay. To pay this amount which was $169.00 for a basic room I expect cleanliness and this was significantly lacking since our last visit. Stained carpets, collapsed beds, dirty grout and more.
This hotel needs serious quality control and management needs to pay considerable care to checking quality of the rooms they are selling.

The service and hotel are fine but the bed was not. I stayed in room 102 for a night and the bed is old and has grooves in it from previous guests. I did not sleep well at all as every time I tried to roll over I would roll into the groove. You could also hear other rooms run water and flushing of toilets. I think I would stay at a hotel in the centre of town next time as this was on the outskirts.

The room was clean. The lodge doesn't include breakfast (there is an option to use the diner of a nearby lodge) but since we had a kitchenette we had breakfast in our room. There were pans and cooking utensils, electric kettle and toaster. The plates and bowls are disposable.
There is no housekeeping due to covid.
We stayed for 3 nights and asked for more plates, soap etc. - staff very friendly and helpful.
All in all enjoyed our stay very much.
It's very close to Lake Maligne and the Canyon.
We also drove to Lake Louise (though it makes more sense to drive from Banff) - yet definitely possible.
Lucky to see Moose and Elks at the entrance to Jasper (close to the hotel) at the turning from the main road.
Walking distance from centre of town, restaurants and shops.

The pictures are deceiving and the ad , they show the restaurant being open right next door but when you get there the clerk states have to go to eat at one of their sister hotels. The room we had on the main level and paid $276 per night for it had carpet ripped apart from main area going to sink area also the carpet is so dirty, who knows when it was lasted cleaned, the AC in the wall looks like it must of been leaking as the wall paper was all bugled , didn't even try to turn it on coffee pot didn't work, when asked to replace it the girl at the front desk said we don't have another one, I told her take one out of the room that is not be occupied. You are way better off staying at any other motel than this hole, will never stay there again.
