On arrival: Staff not very friendly or welcoming Room 1: Cold, shower curtain was too short by at least a couple of inches, did not receive fresh towels (our used towels were picked up, folded and put on the bed), loud, bed not comfortable Room 2: Smelled like urine on night 1. Night 2 could hear neighbors trying to unblock...

This hotel has updated decor. The sheets and blankets were good quality. The front desk girls are very nice and helpful! Growing up with a firefighter dad I always check fire alarms before I sleep in a new place. This alarm did not work when I tested it so I took it off. The alarm was just for show and...

We stayed two nights from December 29&30th and did not receive housekeeping in our room. When we came to check in at 3 pm the room we had reserved had not been cleaned yet so we had to come back an hour later. It was not convenient , but understandable as we hadn't checked in yet. We left the following...

Chose Maligne Lodge because they allow dogs. It's an older style hotel, more like a motel, but the suite had been nicely redecorated. The kitchenette had a breakfast bar instead of a table which takes less space, but not as suitable for board games. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The blinds keep the rooms dark in the morning,...

we were in one of the rooms out front facing the road. room was beyond freezing.. heat was cranked.. didn't help at all. no heater at all in the bathroom. Floor was freezing in there. Beds were super comfy. staff was great to me. I'd stay here again for the price. But also the noise from the main road may...

Paper thin walls - I could hear conversations in one neighboring room and a TV playing quietly in the other neighboring room. When one of my neighbors started their truck and left it idling around 5:30am I could hear it in my room clear as day. Someone also had a hard time waking someone else up, and I heard the...

I was here in town on a Monday night with my dog doing some site seeing so I got this hotel for the night. I got the single bed room with a king size bed. The room was not the very big but was not spending anytime in room so that was not a big deal. The bed was very...

Visited over the weekend with a group of friends, upon arrival we were asked to present a credit card which is normal and when we double checked that nothing would be charged to it the lady at the front desk confirmed this. However after arriving home the member of our group who gave her credit card discovered that she had...

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on Trip Advisor. When a guest checks into the hotel with a credit card, the credit card is not "charged" but a pre-authorization is taken and the credit card is only charged upon check-out. It is unfortunate that there was a misunderstanding regarding the use of credit cards when checking...

I visited the lodge with a group of friends for two nights. As I am only 20 years of age, I have minimal experience in staying in hotels independently, and therefore I rely on and trust information given by the staff. We were asked to present a credit card when we arrived, and I explicitly checked that no charges would...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Jasper isn't the biggest village, which means you are then limited on where to stay. I was already aware that hotels were basic up here (if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to Fairmont), and yes, this does look like a motel from the outside. The room was comfy, good bed and shower and...
