We enjoyed our short stay at Doe a Deer, in a small apartment about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Jasper. It was very clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home. The two bedrooms were nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay. The sofa was comfy and good for sitting... More

We stayed in the two bed basement apartment which was great for us as we had lots of luggage and could use one of the rooms for storage. For anything other than an overnighter, I think this would be a bit cramped for 4 adults though as the lounge area is twee. I didn't meet the owners although they did... More

This is in a great location, is well decorated and clean. we stayed in the two bedroom which made a great change from hotels. Would agree it is best for a family of three and don't expect to be able to cook much. There is a one ring hob and microwave and almost no cooking equipment. Managed to make spaghetti... More

This place was exactly what we were looking for. We stayed in the 2 bedroom ( 1 queen size bed in each room) basement apartment. Laundry across the hall. Parking is on a quiet residential street, easy walking distance from shops, pubs and restaurants .The apartment is clean and beds are comfortable. This is a small apartment but has everything... This is a beaut apartment especially in Jasper where accommodation types are available differently (harder to locate on the internet if you want something other than a large hotel). It is stylish and has a neat, contemporary and functional design. Very comfortable queen size bed, awesome shower, good kitchen amenities, including a kettle! And is spotlessly clean. Location is great... More

The basement studio is spacious, bright and tastefully furnished. It is within easy walking distance to the town center and has good street parking. The kitchen is simple and best suited to light meals/breakfast. The steps to access the basement are steep and could be challenging for some people when attempting to carry luggage.

We arrived here after a night on the train and it was a welcome haven or should I say heaven? Decorated in clean contemporary furnishings, it was refreshingly NOT overdone and still had lots of light despite being downstairs. Parking was right outside the door, town was a short walk (a stone's throw) away and Leanne gave us perfect recommendations... More

We stayed here overnight on our way to catch the train to Vancouver and this spot was just right: 2 rooms for the 4 of us, and a spacious living area. This was a welcome change as we were coming from a nice but crowded hotel room in our previous nights. Parking on the property was good and the location... More

We stayed here for 5 nights as a family (in the 2 bedroom family suite) in August and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This place did everything we expected though there were a few niggles (like the bathroom door being very stiff to open / close and the kitchenette being only just adequately equipped) - but then we had just come from... I had researched a Jasper accommodation for weeks back in winter and decided on Doe a Deer. We were very happy with our choice. It's a great alternative to the expensive hotels and many of the other private home accommodations in Jasper require 4 or 5 minimum night stays. We needed 3 nights during our 2 weeks through the Canadian... More
