Couldn't imagine a more relaxing place to stay. Secluded location with inspiring views right from the bedroom and adjacent outdoor hot tub. Not to mention the endless beach to explore. Saw a lot on our trip, but I most appreciated the time we had at Castle Cove. Thank you so much for accommodating us at the last minute Dawn and... More

This was our third trip to the wonderful wine cellar room in the past few years when we had occasion to be in " the little town that did". The serenity one feels, while sitting in the open air hot tub is unsurpassed. That night a full moon added to the splendor of our surroundings An occasional tugboat slides across... More

I have had a couple of occasions when we've needed to find accommodations for visitors to Chemainus, and both times Dawn at Castle Cove has provided a truly memorable visit for our visitors. Most recently (in October, 2012), we had too many family members at one time for us to accommodate in our own home. A call to Dawn provided... More

Imagine waking up each morning to the gentle sounds of the surf lapping beneath your bedroom windows. Imagine the cry of happy seagulls swooping over the water looking to catch its morning breakfast. Imagine sitting on the beach in the evening with a fire crackling in the fire pit as the lights from the distant ski hill in Vancouver dot... More

Their website shows this three room B&B that is inches from the beach. The waterviews are incredible, especially from the room called the wine cellar. The delightful B&B is a mile or so from Chemainus and could easily be a holiday destination. It wasn't perfect as sounds from upstairs could be heard from those walking about, but it's pretty nice!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS. We do try do keep those spiders from making their webs in the Wine Cellar. Guess they feel welcome because it is a Celler in a Castle but they only come on occassion. We will try very hard to have people only wear soft slippers on the floor above. More
