We should've known when we drove up the driveway that this was not going to be a good stay. It sounded OK on the reviews that we read but we found it unacceptable on many levels. First being that the drive was filled with garbage cans. (Bikes, scattered debris, even a headboard leaning against the garage door). Second was the...

Charming residential block. you can park for free and walk along the lake (with beach sand excuse me!) and the city park to join the downtown. The landlord was pleased to give us many city map and locations to visit around. The breakfast was good and plain enough (fresh fruit, juice, coffee, tea, home made bread).

N49°52.784' W119°30.004' Owner Don Betton converted the second floor of this family home in a 3-bedroom en suite. Our Ethiopian hostess, who served us breakfast the next morning in the small corridor, greeted us. In August 2015 we paid for the green room CAN$135.45 per night including breakfast. The room was nicely decorated and clean, but (very) small with big...

Everything was just fine, no complaints. The location is close to the beach and within walking distance to downtown. Kelowna has great climate and is in the heart of wine country. I was there only for a short stay, but would certainly try it again. I did not eat breakfast there so cannot comment on that.

Staying here for one night prompted me to check into the Hostel just around the corner. Check in was dogmatic, it was as if the business is purely about money and not about people or service. Room was acceptable only just. Grounds are awfully scruffy. None of the personal things like a communal breakfast with other guests. It really was...

This property is CALLED By The Bridge, what they dont really highlight is that its AROUND THE CORNER from an amzing quiet, deserted beach! It is also just down the block, through a tunnel to the City Park, Kelownas beachfront hub of activities! The outside didn't grab me at first, but we had two blissful relaxing nights drinking wine in...

You couldn't ask for a better location. The bed was comfortable. My first impression was not good. I felt like I was intruding. She asked me how I made my reservation, looked like she couldn't find it. Asked me twice how long I was staying and how many people. She asked me what she quoted for a price, I had...

As was previously said in two other reviews, our experience was less than stellar. Before we saw our room we were asked for payment. We had the yellow room and if you don't mind having a glass door on your toilet activities you may find this room acceptable. Ask your partner if they feel the same. The common area reeked...

The owner/manager is very nice, the location is super close to the water and downtown, but the rooms and conditions are poor and ugly. The house and the rooms weren't very clean, the walls are painted with an ugly pink color. We took the suite which has 2 beds, 1 in the main room and the other in a small...

We just finished a 4 night stay at By the Bridge and were thoroughly impressed with the facility. We had 2 separate rooms, both were very clean, quiet and offered everything we needed. We booked through Airbnb and communication with Don (owner) was very simple and fast. Trying to find a place in Kelowna for the August Long Weekend is...
