The Inn is an older building which appears well cared for. Our suite was clean & tidy, more functional than fancy, with a simple living/kitchen area, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and coffee maker stocked with the basic plates, cups & cutlery, etc. The only comment I have is something in the fridge smelled very (very) bad. We left before 9AM and...

I will definitely stay here again. I am a bit of a clean freak and my room was up to my comfort level. Nicely decorated, warm and inviting. I would recommend to everyone!

The owners took a vintage 50s flat roof two story walk up (the type that is usually a dive) and brought it up to modern standards. The result is a pleasantly surprising retro experience that actually works. Everything is spotles with thick towels, comfortal beds, and good coffee.

amazing stay! we got the smallest room fir very affordable price, the room was small but had enough space and had everything in it - very clean bathrooms, very very comfortable queen bed, and even a little kitchenette! with toaster and all the utensils, it was simply amazing. staff at check-in was great too, and the place has amazing views!...

Dave and Marlene are wonderful, attentive hosts who's only desire is to make you feel at home on the road. Did they ever! When we get back to Nanaimo, we will be staying here again. We had the room right above the office with a view of the waterfront. This room, and I am sure all of the other rooms,...

We looked for a place to stay near the Ferry Port and found this gem which was comfortable and economical. We were warned that the room we booked was very small and that they are situated on a busy road but we found it comfortable and slept well. We did not have to rush to get to the ferry Port...

The Buccaneer was recommended by a friend, we found it extremely clean and quiet, the small Touches that were added fresh cream, great coffee, and large bottles of lotion! We were only There for a short stay, but it was a great one. The staff really had great ideas for places to Eat and good shopping recommendations.Aaaaaaargh! The Buccaneer.

I was just looking for an economical place to spend one night as I was just passing through Nanaimo & this turned out to be a lovely gem! Great location on the Harbour Walkway; easy access to downtown via foot or car; clean & well-maintained; very friendly & helpful staff/owner. I was warned that it was situated on a busy...
