We had a room on the third floor. The upper rooms all appear to have little balconies- a nice bonus. The room was very small, but had everything we required (fridge, microwave, iron, coffeemaker). We spent most of our days outside the hotel, so it was a good value

I needed to stay relatively close to downtown in a low-range price but not too seedy. I chose Travelodge for the location and price. All in all. the facility is good, as long as you consider that it is an old building. The rooms are clean and there's an added bonus for smokers - balconies with ashtrays. As for the...

Nice clean room with very good staff. They offer a 10% discount at Marina's Taverna and Pizzeria, who serve the absolute best Greek food we have ever had, anywhere. Glad we stopped here. A bit of road noise for us country folk, the only negative.

We needed a night's clean place, close to everything, friendly place to sleep. This was it. Walk to Nanaimo's boardwald, downtown, etc. Friendly service, breakfast included. We asked for quiet area, got it. We'd even been able to sit outside on the private balcony would mother nature have cooperated!

We had booked two rooms and found this Travelodge to be average/good, with clean rooms, comfortable beds and a reasonable price. It was not easy to find decent accommodation at a reasonable price in Nanaimo, and we were relieved to find the Travelodge offered both. Reasonably close to ferry terminal.

A nice motel, close to the Newcastle ferry, and it allows dogs. Friendly people and clean. I found the room to be a nice size, and comfortable. I would stay here again anytime. They gave us directions to a place for money changing, and a great recommendation for a close by dinner spot.

First of all, our room was not ready at 3 as promised. We had to wait an hour before we could get into it. Though the room was clean, the bathroom really needed some upgrading. Evidently the shower leaked at one time, so the shower head was facing the wall, and you couldn't move it. Made it difficult for washing...

My family and I stayed here for 2 days during our weeklong trip to Vancouver Island. The hotel and city itself is nothing to rave about. It was a clean place to stay while taking a day trip to Ucelet and Tofino, although it was about 2.5 hours away. The room was cheap and clean, and had adequate room to...

Had to wait quite some time for check-in, 6 people ahead of me.........one clerk working the desk....some people pay cash? What century is this? Very slow check-in process. Room was extremely smelly upon entry, couldn't figure out if it was smoke or pets.... but heard dogs barking across hall, so assumed the room was a room reserved for pets... not...

We stayed here for 2 nights and were not that impressed. The location is good, close to the sea walkway but the hotel itself is very dated. Our bathroom wasn't very clean, soap from the previous guests (or guests before that) was left in a corner of the shower and the bed wasn't made properly. Staff at reception and the...
