We took family to Esther's Inn at the end of December 2016. Though the folks that work there were excellent and wonderful to deal with, the Inn is in need of a lot of work. We specifically chose Esther's Inn because of its supposed green space, extra pools, hot tubs and waterslides but though the green space is still there...

This hotel is definitely a little dated in decor, could use an update/Reno. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast buffet was great. Pool was decent, could use a little TLC. Hot tub was ok, looked like the 2nd hot tub was under renovations while we were there. We loved the atmosphere of the hotel. All the plant...

We haven't been here for over a year and we won't be back. Reserved a nonsmoking room but on arrival were given a room that was a smoking room, it reeked! Yes they moved us but to a much smaller room . There was only one pool open and it was extremely cold plus only one hot tub which was...

We booked Esther's Inn through an online travel site. The rates were great and the online site were the same as Esther's advertised rates. I called 2 days before to enquire about having an extra child in the room. They were accommodating and promised it would not be an issue. The staff who greeted us were very friendly and check-in...

Stayed here for a 1 night stopover on a hockey road trip. The hotel is a bit dated, but our room was clean and had a good nights sleep. We utilized the large courtyard for a team dinner. The kids enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the water slides which were a big hit. The hot buffet breakfast is included...

Unfortunately this hotel needs some serious updating. The staff was lovely though; friendly and accommodating. Our room was on the 3rd floor, no elevator and sketchy stairway much like a fire escape. At 6am on Sunday people were slamming doors, yelling to each other, running around on the floors below us and being an open indoor courtyard style it was...

We didn't stay very long just overnight, it was humid and noisey. We won't come again, but the rooms were clean. I was there years ago when my kids were young, it was better then. Needs to be updated for sure, in 18 years everything is the same. It was a quicker stay than we expected, went somewhere else instead,...

Thank you for your comments. The humidity is due to the indoor pool, hot tub and waterslides, which is a great escape from the cold weather. We are a family oriented hotel and welcome families of all ages; however our security team tries to make sure the noise level does not get to high. We are currently undergoing renovations and...

When asked what we thought of of this hotel, the best my colleague and I could come up with was "just okay." The rooms are tired looking and desparately need updating. They are also dark and gloomy as the picture window faces the interior. The major problem I had with this hotel is that the parking lot is at one...

Esther's is very much a PG original. As a young kid I remember spending a bit of time in the pool and, later in life, dining at Esther's in-house restaurant with the grandparents. Back then, the hotel had a Valentine's Day special featuring "Alaskan Crab" (snow crab), so if we happened to be in town at the time, we dined...
