I found The Tides B&B on line by chance and was delighted that I did. From the time I sent an email enquiry, Janess could not have been more helpful. I spoke to her before leaving the UK and she explained what would happen. We arrived on the ferry in Prince Rupert at 23.50 and by the time the taxi...

Janess, the owner, excels at running this B&B, going above and beyond in attending to the needs of her guests. In spite of having to wait up for us because of our late arrival, she immediately made us feel welcome and appreciated. The top-floor room is large, immaculate, and tastefully furnished. It has huge slanted skylights which can be opened...

Sometimes reviews & reality don't match - this is not the case with The Tides B&B! The owner is an exceptional hostess who is both engaging & hospitable while letting you have your privacy. Not an easy balance to maintain but Janess does it with aplomb, yes, aplomb! The Tides is a true residential B&B, it's in a quiet neighbourhood...

Janess was waiting on our arrival. A quick tour and we were left to enjoy the upper level including a large spacious private washroom. Breakfast was waiting at 7:am, and we enjoyed a relaxed morning before departing home. A great B&B choice!

It is a great B&B and Janess a most gracious hostess. The bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed and Janess had the fire going when were arrived. Such a beautiful bathroom with spa bath and separate showers (2). We were here only 1 night as we arrived on the ferry from Victoria that afternoon and were heading to...

Janess provides five-star accommodation and breakfasts. We enjoyed the luxuriuos, spacious upper area of her house as we looked out on the harbour. A friendly, gracious hostess, fantastic resting space within walking distance of Cowpuccchino - Wow!

Without doubt the best B&B we have stayed in. Situated midway between the town centre and the ferry terminal The Tides cannot be beaten for location and comfort. Occupying the entire first floor with opulent bedroom and bathroom facilities and superb views Janess, the owner, has spared no expense in creating the perfect bolthole. Our two night stay was far...

A beautiful suite, a bathroom to die for. Janess was a great host. Easy bus into town (passes property every 2 hours) or you can walk into town. Excellent breakfasts. The use of the microwave and fridge we really appreciated. There is a lovely view and super sunny areas for sitting outside.

We were made very welcome. There is only one set of guests at a time. Everything was easy-going. The hostess could not do too much for us. The house was immaculate. Out of the middle of town - hence peaceful and quiet. Walking distance to 'down town'. Fully recommended.

This is such a special place and Janess is a wonderful hostess. As pointed out by others, there is really only one accommodation with a splendid bed, plenty of space and a lovely large bathroom with a great shower complete with a towel warmer, double sinks and a large closet. There is also a jacuzzi tub. Best of all was...
