Stayed here back in January. Nothing has changed....still great! Booked into the #1 ground level, close to 700sqr feet. Great living room two queen bedrooms. Separate kitchen....and a small full bathroom. Why stay in a hotel room when you can stay at a fully furnished house...right? Now they even have 4 bedroom apartments available. Enjoy your stay while in PR....

We were very impressed with our suite which was actually a 2 bed modern apartment on the first floor. It was bright, clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen had everything you could need and there was a small island with stools. There was free wifi too. The apartment faced the road which was a bit noisy with the windows open....

The buildings are distinctive and not tacky with the guesthouse being a C$10 taxi trip (one way) from the Via Rail railway station serving its thrice weekly excellent 'Skeena' train from Jasper, as well as BC Ferries. The lobby had a good amount of guest seating, a modern kitchen and a washing machine and dryer. The friendly mid 20s Italian...

We arrived late but Phillipo was waiting for us and gave a quick run down on the place. The rooms are small but more than you need and the beds and pillows were so comfortable and super clean. Bathroom separate but also always kept clean; we spent four nights here and the kitchen was so easy to use and store...

We came in after midnight on the ferry and they stayed up for us (and one other passenger) so appreciated that! People leave around free coffee there, so took advantage of that, plus made friends with some Aussies who were there as well. It was very difficult to find late at night and the folks at the hostel kept on...

The apartment was new and clean. The receptionist (a young Italian woman) was friendly and accommodating. Everything worked out just fine except that some of the food we stored in the communal fridge was stolen.

A very nice guy from Italy at the reception encountered us and explained us everything about the hotel and the town. Although we booked for a 4 bed-room, we got a grade up and had a beautiful apartment which was ideal for our family. The apartment was pretty new and very clean.

We stayed here fore the first time and loved it! We are a family of 5 and booked a 2 BR 2 Bath apartment, it was perfect for us! We had plenty of room for all of us, having our own kitchen was an added bonus to cook our breakfast before going fishing. A great place to stay and will...

We've stayed here before, but each time has been a revelation. The 3 C's of diamonds (cut, clarity, and carats) and the 3 C's of "value accommodation" (Clean, Comfortable, and Cheap) are equally important. The Black Rooster has been consistently reliable. In Prince Rupert you can't beat 'em.

The staff stayed up until I arrived from the ferry. Very pleasant people. The room I had was large very clean and tidy with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very clean and tidy. Downstairs is a kitchen where you can make yourself coffee in the morning. It is not a hotel but a remodeled older home which...
