Don't bother trying this place. It has been closed for ages but the sign is still out on the road. Unfortunately, people still arrive here and if on a bike it is a long climb up. Salt Spring is a great place yo visit but this place has never been removed.

Never been on Saltspring island before. Where to stay we asked ourselves. Lets try a B&B we thought. So we looked at the list of B&B's on the island. Sky valley B&B caught our eye, and we checked it out and thought lets go for it . We jumped on the ferry and we were off on a quest to... More

We were fortunate to spend a long weekend at the Sky Valley Inn Bed & Breakfast in July. The place is exceptional with it's beautiful location, immaculate, stunning rooms, gourmet breakfasts, gracious hosts and even a lovely mascot/greeter "Murphy". The hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and looked after. I have a severe allergy to... More

Travelled with spouse for a much needed R & R and this was perfect. He dipped into the lovely large pool several times - I watched with complimentary dry sherry and a good book. There is a large common fridge to store your wine/drinks/food.This is a like a little gite in Provence but much nicer - big fluffy towels by... More

I have just come back from a 3 day getaway with my sister. We shared the very comfy king bed in the master suite which had a lovely deck and beautiful view. We were thankful for the gas fireplace which was great for heating the room. Very nice personal touches included the lavender sachets from the garden and the fragrant... More

My husband and I just spent the weekend at the Sky Valley Inn B&B on Salt Spring island to celebrate our anniversary. It was an excellent experience! First of all, despite what someone said in a previous review, it was very easy to find. I printed off the map from their website, and just to be sure I had printed... More

We have visited the Gulf Islands before and stayed last time at the Hastings House. It was very expensive then and still is now so due to the recession we decided to stay at Sky Valley B&B. For the price range, I think Sky Valley was a very good choice. We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay. We were... More

I don't stay at many B&B' because I prefer boutique hotels, but this was my second visit to Sky Valley and I can't say enough about how special this place is. The rooms are cozy, the beds are like giant down filled pillows waiting to embrace you each night. The rooms are private and quiet, with nothing to distract you... More

Even though they have a 2 night minimum, they were kind enough to grant our request for a one night stay. First of all I'd like the address the comments of the previous negative review. Everyone is, of course, entitled to their opinion but I get the impression that there's a little more to that story. I would never have... More

The Sky Valley Inn was horrible. We paid over $220 to stay for one night, and it was a total rip off. It was difficult to find the place and the roads were treacherous. The outside was filthy (dirt everywhere, loose garden tools laying around, etc) and the inside was dusty and smelled. Our room was extremely cold and the... More
