My husband and I have stayed for a once a year visit to the Pan Pacific over the last 5 years to celebrate our anniversary. In the last 3 years we have booked it through BeVancouver promotions. This year when we arrived we where advised we were upgraded... that is an understatement.. We were upgraded to the Coral Suite Room...

This hotel was expensive but worth every penny. The views from our room were spectacular and the rooms impressive. This hotel offers anything you need and I would recommend it for anyone especially if it is your first trip to Vancouver. Great location for pubs and restaurants.

In the heart of Vancouver this hotel is in one of the conference centres, and overlooks the harbour and mountains. It's an amazing location for getting a quick flavour of the city as it offers amazing views, and is in walking distance (or a short cab) to most of the major attractions. Because of its central location, the building and...

Very nice mountain view and I think the price of the hotel is mainly for the view and location. There's no free parking and parking is at least $42 per night. wifi is not free and after I paid extra for about $5 per day, I noticed that internet speed is terribly slow and it's definitely not high speed internet,...

Thank you for taking the time to post your review on TripAdvisor We were disappointed to read that your stay did not meet your expectations - specifically regarding the Parking and WIFI. The parking facilities at Canada Place are independently owned and operated, but they do extend a courtesy daily flat rate of $42 to our guests, available through the...

Firstly this hotel is in an ideal location for exploring Vancouver, being right in Canada Place. The rooms are an ok size, but dont come with free wifi. Whats frustrating is you go down to the conference center (first two levels of the hotel) and theres free wifi, but for the cost of this hotel I expect it in the...

We visited the Pan Pacific from November 26 - Dec 1, 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and its incredible view of the harbor and surrounding mountains. We also spent time on private tours with Erick from Guia Vancouver Tours for two days booked through Viator. First though, the Pan Pacific was an incredible stay. The view from our suite...

We appreciate you taking the time to post your review regarding your recent stay. It was disappointing to read we did not meet your expectations of value for money. Our outdoor, rooftop pool, while immensely enjoyed during the warm summer months, could be very cold at other times of the year and we regret that you were not able to...

Great place to stay while in town, recommend a room with a harbour view. We got lucky by getting a suite which costs more, however this was our "Stay Vacation". Staff were first class from reception to housekeeping / dining room including the doorman. This hotel is nicely located to transit and many great restaurants or just a quick stoll...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Vancouver's business district, the Downtown area is bustling with smartly-dressed folks balancing their lattes and briefcases to and from work. The area's plethora of contemporary commercial, residential, and corporate spaces has bred a landscape of nouveau restaurants, chain cafes, and upmarket shopping options. However, located right on the waterfront of Vancouver's energetic Harbour, Downtown is a also popular public meeting spot, with a massive public library and convention center attracting a bevy of visitors both local and not, as well as a hotspot for the arts, being home to some of Vancouver's most cutting-edge galleries. With behemoth architecture and a professional air, Downtown means business.
