We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel in the middle of downtown Vancouver. We booked this at what seemed like quite a low price for this area so were not sure what to expect. But we were very happy at the great location and a very large, modern room with all the amenities and a very comfortable bed. This seemed...

After a recent stay at the Blue Horizon, I realized that we have stayed on and off at that hotel for almost 30 years!! It is probably our number one 'go to' hotel. This hotel underwent a renovation last February and although I miss the blue pearl granite that was its trademark feature for years, the updated decor is very...

We stayed here for only one night before a cruise and found it to be a reasonably priced (for a downtown Vancouver hotel) stay in a very convenient neighborhood, with a bit of a view even from the back side facing the next street. Rooms were very clean, bright, comfortable, and large, with large windows on two sides. Noise was...

We stayed 3 nights in October and had a wonderful room on the 28th floor with a fantastic view! With a corner room, we could see the city, Stanley Park, mountains, and water. There were some beautiful sunsets on two of the evenings. The location is downtown amid lots of restaurants and shops. Yes, parking was a bit iffy, elevators...

Got an extremely good deal for a huge room, king size bed and balcony but on a lower floor - you pay for the view. Still had a bit of a view and the large windows and balcony were much appreciated - our room overlooked the street at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. The bed was...

What a find! This was suggested by my travel agent. I stayed on the 11th floor. The room was absolutely huge and well kept, with a nice view from the balcony. I checked in early, before my room was available. They stored my luggage while I took the hop on-hop off tour that boards at the hotel's front door. Upon...

We loved this hotel. 28th floor afforded spectacular views of Vancouver, including a balcony. Superior Queen room was quite large (except for the bathroom, which was just a touch cramped). Clean, quiet, comfortable, and the staff is remarkably sweet. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of most of what we wound up doing. Highly recommend Blue Horizon.

We just spent a long weekend in Vancouver and our stay on the 23rd floor of the Blue Horizon was great! The hotel was recommended by a few friends and after doing some research, we decided to book. You can't beat the price for the location and the atmosphere. We landed early but were able to check in and they...

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights prior to our cruise. Arrived almost midnight. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think there is no bell boy(s) who can help you with the luggages. I noticed that all the guests have to take care our own luggage to bring up or down from or to lobby. Not that we needed one, but...

What a great welcome from the very friendly and professional staff. The location is great, right in the centre for shopping. Handy for the cruise line terminal / harbour. We last stayed 11 years ago and enjoyed the property then. The recent re- fit has brought the hotel up to date. The room s are large, the beds very comfortable...
