Wow, what a fantastic place. A lovely downtown affordable property. Awesome staff, lovely cozy room but at a great price. We love the art and the quirky nature of the place, but best of all are the staff who go over and above to help. (The manager even came to our room to show us how to use the Nespresso...

We have stayed at the Burrard hotel a few times now. Initially, we reserved there as it was conveniently across the street from St. Paul's hospital and gave Hospital Rates, but now we have grown to like it very much due to the friendly staff and clean rooms.

This place was so cool. Definitely beats the cookie cutter chain hotels. This place has personality. It was clean staff was friendly. I loved the coffee machine in the room. Beds were really comfy. And it was an awesome price.

My first impressions of the hotel were positive as the décor makes it look modern and fresh. I was slightly disappointed when I walked into the room though which looked a bit tired. The room was incredibly warm, and putting the air con made it smell like an elephant's turd in there so we refrained. The noise in the hotel...

A great place to stay in Vancouver. A good location, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and the free bikes were a great way to see the city. A very good value option for accommodation in Vancouver.

We booked two rooms for eight people for a bachelorette party. We arrived at the hotel around 6:30pm and were told because of a "glitch in the computer system" they did not have the second room available for us and were fully booked the second night. They told us they would figure something out and would let us know in...

The Burrard is my comfortable home away from home. Great location and solid no-frills service. This isn't the place to stay if you want to be waited on hand and foot, but if you are looking for somewhere to crash in downtown at a reasonable price with on-site parking then you can't beat The Burrard. I have stayed here a...

Coffee machine in the room, comfortable bed, bikes available for hire, friendly atmosphere - would recommend as a slightly cheaper alternative to some hotels in Vancouver. Great location - walking distance to lots of restaurants, cinema, buses, but not too loud.

Walked in at 4:30 in the morning woke up at 8. I experience very little 9f the services offered seeing as I was barely there. I did have a minor conflict with security when I tried to get back to my room at 4:30 in the morning. the main doors were locked and the security assumed that I was looking...

Here's what I liked about the Burrard: 1. Comfortable bed 2. Shower temperature and pressure both great 3. On site secure parking (extra $) 4. Complimentary fitness passes to local gym Here's what was underwhelming: 5. The rooms are just dressed up motel rooms and small 6. Our room had a lingering cigarette odour But overall a good stay and...

Staying in Davie Village

Neighbourhood Profile
Davie Village
Davie Village is the vital LGBTQ heart of Vancouver. It is the only like area in the world to have a permanent four-way rainbow crosswalk, to symbolise the city's solidarity with many of the businesses, ranging from bars to bookstores, that keep the area vibrant. By day, it is a people-watching stop, with fantastic boutique cafes, but at night is when it really shines, humming with neon lights and nightclub music inside many of the hip and trendy bars and dance halls. The area is diverse and welcoming, and its supportive community makes for a tight-knit group of independent and creative shops.
